Because you did a light blue colour..I think for flower you can use---lemon yellow or ochre yellow..for highlighting(or touchup)the flower you may use little brown colour also...try it and then let me know

Acrylic colours are used.. and about the powder.. i guess it's corn flour.. or any type of telcum powder.. for giving it good texture on bottle.. otherwise paint will not applied properly..

No, it wouldn't stick on the jar and would get washed off the moment it touches water + you don't get even nearly as good coverage as with acrylic paint

ITS DEFINITELY NOT SALT. It is something else idk what it is but not salt you can use cornstarch as a substitute for this

You can make it water resistant by using varnish. But none of these crafts can be completely waterproof.
