Amazing segment. I like it when top-cards and mid-cards are involved in storylines. It makes the promotion feels alive compared to each champions get a strict 1-on-1 storyline. Plus, i think it elevates the belt because people are flocking around it. Also, MJF is really working double time. Earning his stripes as a champion.

They're taking one of the biggest matches that they could possibly do, MJF vs. Omega, a world title match between two of the biggest stars in the four-year-history of this company, and they're hotshotting it on free tv with only three days of build...I'm telling you, the level of incompetence in this company is unfathomable. This is a match that could have EASILY been the main event of a major PPV, with a proper story and buildup, between these two big stars who have never faced each other before, but instead they're using it as a pitstop on the way to MJF's match with Jay White at Full Gear. And for what? To try to pop the ratings for Collision? That's not even gonna work. It's like Tony Khan just realized TODAY that MJF was about to surpass Omega's reign as world champ and wanted to book something on the fly. Classic "cocaine booking" by The Snowman. And surprise, surprise, all of the brainwashed AEW fans are eating it up with a spoon. I can already hear all the same cult-like comments of "Thank you, Tony!" and "Tony Khan is so good to us, giving us this match on free tv!" This is proof positive that these fans don't care one bit about storytelling, build, or characters. They want instant gratification. They want memes. They want things you can put on a t-shirt. And some big names like Samoa Joe, Strickland, Jamie Hayter, Toni Storm, Big Bill, Brody King, Takeshita, and much more...They would be so awesome in AEW fight forever !!! The way that they had MJF evolve is amazing. You can't ever really tell if he is going to play heel or face, but you know he is going to deliver. Went from rarely defending his title, to now he is wrestling twice on almost every paper view and defending the title religiously. The guy is only 27.

I don't wanna nitpick this... but I would've liked if they'd done this slightly sooner. Have Max enlist Kenny and the Bucks to beat BG Gold and help get his belt back, and in return he gives Kenny a chance to protect his record.

So let me get this straight. They're taking one of the biggest matches that they could possibly do, MJF vs. Omega, a world title match between two of the biggest stars in the four-year-history of this company, and they're hotshotting it on free tv with only three days of build...I'm telling you, the level of incompetence in this company is unfathomable. This is a match that could have EASILY been the main event of a major PPV, with a proper story and buildup, between these two big stars who have never faced each other before, but instead they're using it as a pitstop on the way to MJF's match with Jay White at Full Gear. And for what? To try to pop the ratings for Collision? That's not even gonna work. It's like Tony Khan just realized TODAY that MJF was about to surpass Omega's reign as world champ and wanted to book something on the fly. Classic "cocaine booking" by The Snowman. And surprise, surprise, all of the brainwashed AEW fans are eating it up with a spoon. I can already hear all the same cult-like comments of "Thank you, Tony!" and "Tony Khan is so good to us, giving us this match on free tv!" This is proof positive that these fans don't care one bit about storytelling, build, or characters. They want instant gratification. They want memes. They want things you can put on a t-shirt. They want nonstop chaos and carnage. They want to do their stupid smarkish chants. These fans don't love wrestling. In fact, they hate it and are doing everything they can to kill it.
