Jericho is really just swapping face/heel with every feud, but... I am not hating this one. It's a "I am THE veteran"-gimmick, which fits him perfectly, he has messed up his air and did not shave properly which gives him the "fallen out of favor superstar"-vibe that is just what his career has become, but it fits perfectly for the gimmick. He even talks in a fitting tone. Big Bill really managed to sound insecure here as well. He lost his title and has not gotten any new opportunities so that checks out as well... You know what, I will put my "Just leave already Chris!"-mindset on hold for now. This might actually be fun.

The FTW championship was something that wasn’t meant to mean something, even back when it was first made. It was originally made because Taz was frustrated that Shane Douglas wouldn’t give him a ECW championship match. Injuries to the champion (which prevented a champion being on the show) would also play a factor in it being made as well. Whatever the hell they (AEW) are doing with it now, is degrading of what it was meant to be.

One thing Chris has always been great at, Thinking he's a face, and being a complete heel and getting crazy heat from the fans, but acts like everyone just loves him like the top face of the company. After 30 years this still doesn't get old to me. It's when he's at his best.
