ive been playing fujin way before he was meta and i always saw most of my consistent wins from run away or stay in that back 2 range. over the years i got a lot of salty people complaining how boring he is bc all i do is “run away”. I never knew i was being toxic 😅 but yeah it’s so true. fujin NEEDS to run away for his buttons to even be usable

I hate this gameplan too, but fujin buttons upclose are not good besides 11u4 and 12343, b1 If u jump fujin is doomed bc the string whiffs, f3 the same, If the opponent jumps a lot its best to just back wavedash and push

This dude reminds me of myself back in MKx days. I used to think the way to become a pro player was to pick a strong character then learn some combos and you're good to go. 😅 Also expecting others to play the way I want them to play.

Prove something? That he ain't willing to learn. Those are often the saltiest dudes. I played a demon of a Kotal on MKX the other night. And instead of quitting i stayed for a whooping and created a goal. Take at least a round. Took 6 games but I got there. Point is. I learnt the match. And now average Joe Kotals in X are, well not free but managable.

Yep i played an EG player and that used Buzzsaw Lao & Johnny. He won 25 vs my 10 but the level he was playing was different. I main Fujin. After I got smacked on by him for an hour I went back to KL & when on a 8 set streak ans got to God rank. Sometimes getting smacked on by players at a high level is the best way to level up 🤷🏿‍♂️

I used to play mk11 and people were constantly saying that I should not jump with Slight Gas Kabal. It was so overwhelmingly annoying i quit playing it. But now I am rethinking my decision.

If people can't give you a solid reason to stop something AND they're getting smoked by what you're doing, its normally just a complaint rather than a criticism. At that point, may as well optimise what you're doing already and make it even more annoying.

You have to time your wind push n be aware the time not to do it so u don’t get hit by trade, and sky Waka to punish most of the ice balls 😊

That’s why you take ice wall as well, it beats sky wakka and Fujins slide, is + on block so if they try to wind push and you do ice wall -> ice ball you win a trade. Having a mid projectile that’s + on block helps him win the chip war. Then the air axe covers the space where the wall is weaker

Thats why ppl say mk 11 is boring .Most ppl want Memorized safe patterns with free chip damage on block , while building meter , and preparing a set up , followed by a Ex armor move 🤣🤣🤣 Mk 11 has some stupid shit to . But at least you have defensive options . And pple get mad because of it . They say ' why should i get punish by a roll escape when i got him in to the corner ' 🤣🤣 Having options is better than having no options . I want free damage without having to risk anything.
