For me, this song makes me think about how much you really like someone and the stage when you genuinely feel like your falling for them. But for what ever reason you can’t show each other your true feelings. You can’t tell each other, you just have to read between the lines and hope they feel the same way you do.

Since I was a young child, I’d always fantasized about being in love in such a pure way. Now, at 41, I’ve realized that (for a variety of reasons) it truly is only a dream and it won’t happen as I imagined, or at all. Eagerly anticipating prom night and the party afterwards. When my friends were so excited to see me, when I felt like I could do anything. Here I am stuck at a 9-5 office job renting and living paycheck to paycheck bored and alone, but songs like this are what bring me back to those moments.

I remember that warm and sunny morning in the summer, the summer breeze was coming in through the curtains, my ex husband was waking up and I just lied next to him and I scrolled through youtube, I remember seeing this song and I just clicked on it. It was a video version with footages from the movie Her. I saw that movie last year. It only brought back my painful memories. It felt like feelings of failure, anger, sadness and betrayal were gonna last forever. It takes time to fall in love with someone deeply, so don't expect to fall out of love quickly. There is no magic trick and shortcuts, you have to go through it alone. You will miss them and you, how you were and how you felt with them. You have to open your wounds and to clean them. It will leave a scar tissue, but we all have our history and I love someone even more, when they trust me and show them to me. That's true mature bonding and acceptance. I don't know if I'll find my happiness, but I hope I will. Novody knows what life may bring. I also learned that there is no perfect love, there is just love that is perfect for you. You build your home by expanding your life experience and meeting other cultures and points of view. The best way to get to know yourself is through others. Maybe you are miserable now, sad and suffering, but that part of love is much needed so you can be free and be comfortable with yourself and your own feelings, so that you can find the right partner who suits you and wants the best for you, just like you want for yourself. It takes time. Pain transforms people, through dark times come the most beautiful sun rays and we learn to appreciate the Sun more and more. Don't be afraid, it shall pass.
