Aboustly the best KZfaq for Affinity. I have watched many videos in the last year and purchased a few books. This has a lot of information and easy to understand. I also like the fact that you don't have to watch someone trying to be funny or cute. This is something you will keep and watch over and over.

What a great tutorial! I just got the Affinity Photo app, and I don't think there's a better tutorial out there to get started. I have experience with a few graphics programs and so a lot of these tools look familiar, but the smooth sequence of the all-encompassing presentation is absolutely incredible. Thank you!

This was a great tutorial. As a recently unemployed designer due to this whole convos thing, I no longer have access to the Adobe suite that was being supplied by my former place of employment. Instead of paying for my own monthly subscription, I decided to find Adobe alternatives which lead me to the Affinity suite. I thought I was just going to be able to dive right into Photo with my Photoshop knowledge and be creating with no issues. Wrong. 🤣 It's does a few things different and I was lost. I'm glad I found this tutorial. I see that this is truly a powerful Photoshop alternative and I'm looking forward to learning more about it and the rest of the suite. I've just stubbed you.

This is really helpful. I just bought the program today and SO looking forward to being able to use it for my art. I would get Adobe but just cannot afford it since its not a one time purchase like Affinity is. And to be honest, its just as good! Affinity PLEASE make an ANIMATION program next! Perhaps call it "Affinity Animate" or something!

I've been looking to upgrade my 10+ year-old Elements 6 for the longest time and this an amazing tutorial pretty much the same thing as Photoshop, but you're not destroying your wallet and it has all the same features.

0:55 If you want to creat new file with the Clipboard dimensions like in Photoshop, you have to select File > New From Clipboard. 4:15 You can also zoom with Space+Ctrl like in Photoshop with one difference, you HAVE TO press Space first. 5:35 The Develop Persona is unfortunately very limited compared to Photoshop. No per-channel HSL dials, and many of the corrections, like Saturation and Vibrance, are capped really tiny amounts. 11:08 Rectangular Marquee Tool (and others) don't have the Photoshop functionality, where you can position the selection by holding Space as you draw it. Makes every operation with it take twice as long.

I have a question. In the Liquify Persona, is there some way I can remove the grid that shows over the photo? The grid makes it harder for me to see when I’m using the liquify tools so I wish I could make it invisible.

HELP!!! How do I use separation mode? When selected, all my tools and options are wherever. When NOT selected, all my tools and options disappear. Where do they go? How do I have them stationary and in my determined spot (whereas they won't move)?

I am so confused all I want is to be able to lighten photos or pic arts and add my ICC profile ready for sublimation I've tried so many different apps and downloaded this one but I'm only a newbie and not yet purchased the pro as I've made mistakes so many times buying pros and having no idea how to use them. Could you possibly do a video OF download pic art please if you don't mind as I also want to be able to then send the finished lightened pic art or photo to my crucit for print and cut for sublimation. TIA
