Dr Dray your wisdom travels far...I live in South Africa and you have changed my life. My skin has improved so much that people comment on it. I find that we do not always have the products here that you have there or that they are very expensive here, but I have found some or similar ingredients etc. Love your videos and product advice♡

Also from South Africa , it's crazy just how expensive some of the products are and sad that there are so many unavailable or made with different formulas here ....

@@odettemarillier1297look for products with the active ingredient... salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide etc most of these are quite affordable at Dischem/Clicks. The ingredient is the important part, not so much the brand name

Try a 10% (if too strong, a 4 or 5%) benzoyl peroxide wash for face and body. Then, choose a 0,5% (or even 2%) salicylic acid toner or lightweight moisturizer for day time, before your sunscreen (mandatory!). At night, wash your face again, then you can use again your toner/moisturizer. To end, go with adapalene! Good night 😴😝

My 22 yr old daughter had the worst painful cystic acne during COVID. Finally the doctor put her on Accutane. We tried so many products before that and it all was a waste of money. Consult your doctor to see if you qualify for Accutane. For mild cases then follow what Dr Dray advises

Sure wish videos like this were around when I was in my 20's and 30's when I had issues with acne. I was lucky that it wasn't terrible but the monthly breakouts were no fun. These days, I rarely break out unless I've tried a new product my skin doesn't like and since starting Differn my skin has calmed down a lot. Thanks, Dr Dray. These affordable skin care products are much appreciated by so many of us. Happy Monday! I hope you have a relaxing evening. ❤

Thank you so much for addressing this. The prescription creams are so expensive! I use the Neutrogena Stubborn Texture cleanser (AM), Vanicream gentle cleanser (PM), Neutrogena water gel moisturizer, adapalene, and of course sunscreen (usually a tinted oil-free SPF). In my 40s and so far this simple routine is working out pretty well. I'm not clear but my acne is controlled. I recently added on the Dr. Gross LED mask and feel that it's worthwhile! Not super affordable but more affordable than Aviclear. 😊

For me this is the golden rule no numerous potions, lotions etc. Consistency is key as well ❤ not here and there 😅. I personally use CeraVe foaming cleanser and CeraVe moisturizing cream (now I'm using Froika balm by ultracare that has niacinamide-oats-and yeast fermented extract) and A-derma protect kids children lotion very high protection spf 50+ fragrance free (like a milky fluid ). Thanks for the recommendations Doctor Andrea ❤.

Thank you Dr. Dray for sharing this helpful information. My skin is very sensitive to many products especially fragrances or even masking fragrances. I have rosacea and now that the weather is getting warmer, my skin seems to be more sensitive. My skin care routine is simple... my favorite cleanser is the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle creamy fragrance free cleanser , I've been loving this cleanser for over 5 years now 🥰 I also use several products from Vanicream - the Moisturizing Lotion and the SPF 30 sunscreen. Have a nice day everyone 🌹

I have acne prone, sensitive skin. Love that equate oil free moisturizer! I also loved the Neutrogena that they got rid of. I use La Roche Posay Purifying Foaming Face Wash and it is gentle, but also cleans really well without over drying. I only cleanse my face at night and just use water in the morning. That up and up brand benzoyl peroxide is also a great value and it works really well. I also love Paula's Choice 1% BHA lotion (great for sensitive skin versus the 2% which was too strong for me)...they often have sales and I have gotten it for a really great price.

I've been using tretinoin for a few months now. When I first started it, my skin became the clearest it has been since I hit puberty (I'm in my early 30s now). But I am a CNA at a LTC facility and we just had to start wearing N95 masks again because we had another outbreak of it-that-shall-not-be-named, and my face has been absolutely wrecked since, and only in the area where the mask covers. How do I recover from this? I don't foresee us being able to work without them any time soon.

This video came just in time 😅 my question is - where you mentioned that tinted sunscreens use iron oxide and it helps protecting against blue light from the sun, would the same go for bb creams? I use the missha bb cream, since I’m very pale and 99% of “light” “cool tone” tints look orange on me 😅

I believe I cannot combine it with tretinoin, but can with adapolene. It can't be used with AHA/BHA, peptides, vitamin C right? But it can be used with a Niacinamide serum?

Dr. Dray, I just read a new article saying that Benzene in products such as Benzoyl Peroxide and in some well known sunscreens have been found to be cancer causing. Can you please make a video about that? Thank you! Love your videos! Yikes, just started watching this current video and you are recommending a product with Benzene! Glad I sent you this note!

A number of derm channels, cosmetic chemists, Lab Muffin have all made videos dispelling the Valisure study. The ladies from Chemist Confessions basically said they'd take the study more seriously if it had been done in a more real-life way instead of at temps between 122F - 158F.

Additionally everyone points out you’re exposed to way more benzene riding in a car than has ever been found in these products. Massive overreaction and companies responding to PR pressure.

Highly acne prone skin here, can u please tell do i need to double cleanse at the end of day if i reapply sunscreen 2 times during day, also On most days i do need to wash face with plain water atleast twice daily before the reapplication so definitely some sunscreen washed off too So what should i do, after oil cleansing i do get some acne the next morning and Micellar water irritates my skin

is it a must to kill off p.acnes at the end of the day ? or can the following morning is fine too ?
@Justin_Osugi

Either is fine, but cleansing at night is important to remove your sunscreen.

@@Justin_Osugi totally agree about cleansing at night, was just thinking if let's say I kill p.acnes in the morning and not at night after a long day, does that mean that they have a whole night to cause a pimple ? like which one is better
