Just wanted to say, I love you and your channel Noelle! Love your taste and style, but also your realistic and genuine. Laughed so hard when you were like "they're probably upstairs destroying my house" hahaha!! Also, I think as myself and my kids get older I see the value in intentional plastic toys (even some battery operated ones), as opposed to just all things wooden etc. I think if you know what your kids likes, and you can shop second hand or small to even find it, that's awesome and even regardless of budget to try and keep things intentional and minimal makes all the difference because I just think kids get so overwhelmed so quickly...as much as I love giving them gifts (it's honestly MY personal challenge to not give as much and to pull back ! haha!) Also, so here for the 90's toys!! Not just because they're nostalgic, but because I truly think they were so much better! Like, Tamagotchi's to Polly Pockets were just awesome back then, now most things are tacky and classless in my opinion. I ended up getting our daughter a large vintage polly pocket for one of her main Christmas gifts this year, from ebay and it puts the new ones to shame haha! Anyway, sorry for the random rant! We love Maileg! I have the 2 other gingerbread houses but I want that small one too lol!! The first addition has a little upstairs and we use it year round because my daughter LOVES fairytales and she plays Hansel and Gretel with it! I agree, tuck the siblings into their stockings, save the box! If they play a ton with them and they are fairly easy on toys, I would introduce it for play later. We got Santa mouse this year and he also came in a darling gingerbread box! Also, I didn't do Santa with my first 3 and have zero regrets! I feel like our bond is even better without that weird trust issue dynamic. I have a 4th kiddo and my SO did tell me early on in our relationship that he would not back down on Santa, so we all respect his wishes on that. Although we are a couple, we've never lived together so I just tell her Santa goes to Dadda's because it wouldn't be fair if you got 2 Santa visits, same with the elf etc.... With my older kids, we still enjoyed Santa as a character and the idea he represents.

We love Maileg this is our second year with the gingerbread house. I feel like their small items are getting even better. We have tea sets and the new holiday version tea set plus the vacuum was what I added for Christmas. The pull toy car was a present my child got for their birthday was really impressed with that one also!
