Everyone in Hindustan loved Akbar. A good ruler must be strong but it also takes a great heart and a strategic mind to win the hearts of his subjects. The Mughul empire just imploded after Jehangir left and stained the legacy of Akbar.

Jalaluddin Mohd Akhbar Great secular Mughal Indian Emperor n King. He united Hindus Muslims Sikhs n Buddhists during his rule. Great guy among Muslim Kings in India. After him Jehangir and Shahjehan ruled. But after death of Shahjehan decline of Mughal empire started.

Fun fact- Afghans and mughals were Fierciest enemy of each other. Babar defeated afghans and Afghans under sher shah suri defeated Humayun(Son of Babar). Humayun ran to Iran and left Akbar in the protection of a Rajput king. There is only one Rajput prince left in Pakistan and that is that family which protected Akbar and raised him. Later The shah of iran helped mughals to defeated sher shah suri. Then again A rajput king Hemchandra Vikramaditya defeated Mughals in delhi and again lost delhi to Mughals later. So in reality Rajput and Afghans both together fought against the Mughals but Mughals dominated over both. But the Province in entire central asia and South asia which Akbar was never able to Suppress was a Tiny province of Mewar who Ruler are the legendary Guhilot rajput Clan. Maharan Kumbha,Bappa rawal, Rana sanga, Maharana pratap and Amar singh were the rulers of the the province.

@Heartless Blinder first of all akbar want to convert all non muslims into muslims please update your knowledge and read history carefully. And you know what akbar was very much powerful but he can't defeat maharana pratap the king of mewar. Akbar offer him half hindustan for the mewar but maharana pratap refuses it. And all foreign invaders tried to convert hindus into muslim but they can't, they fail because faith that hindus have, the sacrifices, the courage help them to prevent convert into Islam

@@Versatileabhi he only married jodha because of political reasons, there's not a great love story and the taxes he removed were frickin imposed by his own father, so he didn't do anything great. He also only did that to get the public on his side. And he also killed many ofc. He is not as great as some stories tell him to be.

And those were middle ages..You can't expect kings of that period to have 21st century human rights values. Human life had less value in those times. Life was all about war and conquest. So considering that standard Akbar is called the greatest among all mughal kings because of his secular approach and his power not because he was a saint or a human rights activist..

He was very cruel towards religious minorities. Killed many people. He also killed his brothers and presented head of his brother to his father. Akbar was respected by all. Majority of people under mughal rule were hindus and if you become rich by humiliating your own public, you can never be great. Aurengzeb did no succession planning and mughal empire disintegrated after his death.
