They're exposing the real truth and beauty of countries that Americans don't know anything about or are misinformed by their medias. Just the other day one of my friends from the US found Drew's channel and was mindblown by how little he knew about middle eastern countries and cultures. I don't normally comment on videos, but this piece of art is my home. A home that we left when I was one. A home that continues to shape me from its literature and videos like this. I am not sure why exactly I feel so emotional watching this, perhaps it's yearning to be there but knowing it is impossible for now. My people are the kindest and this makes my heart ache because I know exactly what type of pain they are hiding behind those smiles. I wait for the day where I can freely go to my country and contribute to its society, but until then, it's these videos that hold me together. Thank you, Drew. It's my first time watching your video and I somehow landed on this specific one.

@@gloveson5687 honestly, I find people from Islamic societies tend to migrate to non islamic world, especially the west, NO MATTER WHAT. This poster is talking about , in surprise, wow how safe the country is. Well, there are 60 million Afghans living there just fine right now. So, I do not feel the problem is "safety " or not. But that you feel always wanna get away from your own societies instead of sticking to it and improving it.

Cricket is influence of Colonialism and it is hated in Afghanistan by majority of the people. Only tne Pakistanised Pashtun migrants love cricket and that too is a subsidised popularity by the money coming from external powers seeking to normalise Pakistanisation of Afghanistan. It is linked to promotion of Taliban.

@@Ghurshah that is not true. Cricket, football, volleybal, rugby and many more sports are played in Afghanistan for over 100 years old. I have seen authentic pictures of Afghans playing cricket and football in the time of King Zahir Shah. Only because lots of Pashtoons play cricket doesnt mean u have to be jealous and discrimaniting us. In Herat to Kandahar to Kandoz people play cricket. Its just a sport, its not deep, relax and breath. Peace
@Ghurshah
@Ghurshah 3 жыл бұрын
@@ibrahimkhel470 Cricket is not an international worldwide game like Football. It is game played by British colonies. The few exceptional examples from past is not the reason for crickets current presence in Afghanistan. The current presence started with Pakistanised Pashtuns and especially in time of Taliban rule. It is part of Pakistani invasion of the country and is hated by most people except the Pashtun who see it as their game in the country. It a disgrace that is funded by outsiders to promote Pakistanisation. First the game was played in the land was by British Empire troops. Later some Indian teachers in some Kabul schools would hold the odd game, but the present cricket phenomenon is a political project. What is there to be jelous of from cricket playing Pakistanized Pashtuns and their pro Taliban sympathies? They are traitors.
