What I want to know is why all the bosses in the first game had more than three life bars lol

Noticed that only Ripper Roo has 3 HP. Koala Kong has 4 HP, Papu Papu and Neo Cortex each has 5, Pinstripe has 6 and Nitrus Brio has 7+3. In both Crash 2 and 3, only N. Gin has more than 3 HP. Lack of attack pattern variation in Crash 1 maybe...??
