Good review. I have uninstalled the game after playing since launch. You really do hit a wall as a free to play player because like you said it's impossible to get the orange skill upgrades unless you place really high in the dream realm but you can't place hi because you aren't spending a lot of money. So you can get lots of blue skill upgrades but then you're not able to compete in PvP or PvE. The letter and diamond economy is really awful for free to play. Because you need so many copies and you and buying copies with your dream realm currency it still takes forever to get people up to high enough levels. And what I found was that I would come to a point where I just couldn't progress and then I would leave the game and just collect AFK rewards until I leveled up my characters because the purple dust is very scarce and then I would get past the miasma gatekeeper and then walk a screen or two and be fighting monsters that I was totally unable to beat again. Endgame there really isn't much to do The labyrinth would be fun if you could repeat it and get rewards for completing it every time The dual mode is a really great idea by far the best idea in any of these games that I have seen even though it's RNG still You can play the system well and go nine wins I would almost always go nine wins. Overall the game is all right but if you want to be competitive you can't be and so unlike other games that I have played where I could compete in PvE and PVP in this one I cannot and there really isn't too much of a low spend option because you can buy the gazette or whatever and get lots of diamonds but that's about it. The latest Dev talk didn't address any of the issues and so I am not confident that Lilith games will improve these things any time soon. When the best advice is to re-roll on a new server and just hope that that server doesn't have a lot of whales it's a pretty bad scene.

im liking it so far mac i feel you tho i feel like you spent your way to far and most players arent as far as you yet but im sure they will release more things in time its still new i like it so far tho good vid tho hope you start covering the game

I like the game so far, and am optimistic about the future. In other games and am a medium spender (sometimes a bit high). In this game, I have bought some $1 or $5 packs here or there. But I like the slower pace of progress as basically a free to play. As you said, if you spend a lot, you get to end game very fast. So, I will go slow and save my money for the other games.

I think you are coming from the perspective of someone who puts a lot of time into the game. I think a few bad pointers that you brought up like the 20 mins playtime is actually really good. Life doesn't always give you the chance to spends hours on a game daily, with this, you login daily spend sometime and you're set for 24 hours.

i think its good there's no that many heroes, they will release new heroes down the road anyway, so its good to start low-key. I think a lot of the downsides of the game that u have problems with will be solved down the road, or u dont really understand the developer's phiolosophy. Paragon is a small power difference, and you dont really need to chase it, its just there for the swag pretty much.

As a Dragonheir player, I tried this game too and ended up uninstalling it after 1 day of trial. Here is my perspective. It didn't feel as complete and complex as dh. The graphics got stale once the novelty faded out. The world was very big, but felt even more generic than DH's fey meander. I will admit the PvP experience in this game is good though, and the gacha having a wishlist is a very good thing. To nuance that, you need a lot of dupes of each hero in this game to make your heroes progress.

I like endless upgrade systems, but not if only for whales/pay to win thing. If normal cap is level 100, it should be a way to reach lev101, sure much slower but no cap should be a hard cap. For me it sounds great, no mindless gear farming for hours to get something useful for your class/hero I really disliked Dragonheirs way of gear farming with random stat bonuses. You Def gear always got Atk bonuses and your Atk gear got Def bonuses. Had to farm 100's of each item to get one to use =( It sounds cool with a game there Guild matter, more the members work on Guild upgrades, more bonuses everyone can enjoy, for most game Guilds are just pointless. This is really fun, as most things you disliked I would like and things you would like, I wont. No matter how you make a game, always someone like or dislike it for that reason. We are different and we like different thing, nothing is more right or wrong. (unless whale only content) Thanks for great and honest review. I will definite try it out now.

I play Dragonheir these days and played Raid earlier. Tried this game some time ago but it was too cartoony for my taste, couldn't take it seriously, lol
