Alot of these kinds of games sometimes have shitty balancing, with it being way too easy at the start and way too hard later on, so technically it can be accurate to gain 20+ levels from basically breathing

I think the reason why the mobile game ads today is horrible is : - Too many emojis - The ads taunt us like : Noob vs Pro I'm sure you can't pass... Why is this game so hard ? etc. - using meme such as spongebob meme. - The fake gamer. Their reaction to the game just like reading a script. - Good graphic but lazy animations - Fake reward like " if you can pass lvl 100, you'll get $ 1000 from your trading account." - The ad is not actually look like the game like The ads show their game is a pvp, against many enemies, but in the game it shows only tower building and short battle. Thats enough. Can you add my opinions ?

One thing I gotta give AFK Arena props for is that they do put lore for the setting and backstories for their characters. Other mobile games (looking at you, Raid) just go all “Here’s an epic world. Here’s your epic heroes. What, you wanna learn more about the characters you control? Who needs story when you got SUPER REELISTIC GRAFFIKS AND EPIC CUTSCENES!!!!”

before I played the game, I kept seeing ads for Isabella and Lyca. The ads looked like your typical, give me your money there isnt actually a game there, type of ad but the actual game has dedication and lore in it and its actually legit, I was surprised. What made me download it? I saw the art for it in the play store after I was amazed by the beautiful app icon of the 2 little twins. When looking through the art, I saw Lyca and was shocked it was the very game I laughed at

They just used her victory animation from the game (not sure , but it kinda looked like her ult, where she throws the axe in the air, grabs it with the hook and swings it at the enemy)

As someone who used to make video ads for a mobile game company this kind of advertising makes me just feel bad for the developers. I feel like all these shitty ads are outsourced to the same company who makes these because its cheap and they just let them do whatever the heck they want so they reuse the same ideas over and over regardless of the game, I doubt any internal marketing team would have standards this low lol. AFK Arena is actually a good game so it's a shame that their advertising has reached this state.

I actually play this game and it wasn't because of the ads. I like AFK Arena and kept playing to this day. But the only ads of AFK Arena that I got was the backstory of AFK Arena which looked pretty well. Seeing these ads now though I really wish they wouldn't do this. Props to those who like playing the game because of what the game was and not the ads
