Her Majesty was truly a person of truth and wisdom! She always carried herself with dignity and grace! Truly a class act! The world is a lesser place with her passing! God Bless the Queen and may she rest in the Lords arms! From the USA!!

It's a crap national anthem. It says nothing about the nation. All it does is praise the figurehead of the country. The AFL and the people of that stadium did a great job. A very appropriate show of respect...

Well, the following verses are worth a read - or sing. For example, the sixth verse (nowadays rarely sung) talks about 'rebellious Scots to crush' .... (In History) Lord grant that Marshal Wade May by thy mighty aid Victory bring May he sedition hush And like a torrent rush Rebellious Scots to crush God save the King

@@johnclayden1670I bet this impresses the Scots Lol. No wonder so many of them want an independent Scotland. I have always liked "Flower of Scotland" Not for any political reason, I’m Australian. It might perhaps be described as a de-facto Scottish national anthem and hits back at the British one that wants to crush them. Please see below… O Flower of Scotland, When will we see Your like again, That fought and died for, Your wee bit Hill and Glen, And stood against him, Proud Edward's Army, And sent him homeward, To think again.
