@@SpencerSims275, yes, a flag contender, but never get too confident, I’ve seen this happen multiple times before where the dominant team struggles at the end of the season or in the finals, but they are looking good at the moment, if they keep this up, they should win the premiership.

Geelong (practically a Melbourne team) almost always made finals the last 20 years (missing out only 3 times), winning 4 flags (and not just winning, dominating), making a total of 6 grand final and a total of 13! prelims. Their worst performance was a 12th place. They therefore outperform ANY team over the last 20 years, even the very consistent Swans. We got high draft picks regularly for almost two decades but continuously sucked. Making finals only 5 times, winning 4 finals in total and making just one prelim (last year of course). We won the wooden spoon 4 times and 12th would have been an average to decent performance for us based on the last 20 years. If Geelong can do it, we should be able to do it as well. No excuses anymore.
