North have gone through a horrible period in the last 4 years. Every club at some stage will have their horror run era in their history. Tasmania don't want North & North have 51000 members for 2024. The club shouldn't fold because there is a history of over 100 years & folding a club destroys communities families that are generational Supporters. There is redevelopment at North Melbourne with the Arden Precinct in coming years and it will make North Melbourne an attractive hot inner city modern culture prospect. This is another reason the club will be better off in years to come & why they should not fold. I do think the AFL needs to step in and help North Melbourne maybe not with top draft pics packages but help them have better resources to be a strong competitive club. Eddie McGuire's proposed plan for North to have an accademy of players they could access in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and Victoria I like. I believe they also need the best development coaches ,best fitness coaches to get their playing personal to be on par with the rest of the comp.They need strong Football people running the footy club,not supporters like Sonja Hood and Jen Watt. North need to find the next Brendan Gale as a head of a footy club,just look at the vision he had at Richmond where he forecasted his plan for Richmond to win 3 flags by 2020 and we all remember in the early 2010s people were laughing at him yet he and his footy club had the last laugh. Sonja Hood and Jennifer Watt don't have that plan. Someone needs to come into the footy club and make a statement with the clubs direction for silver ware by making a 10 year plan and aim to win 3 flags by 2035. The one thing in North's favour now is that it's the right time to bottom out 3 years before Tasmania and if they draft well and get good personal to drive them up the ladder in a few years time they will be in a better position on field then a lot of Victorian clubs . It's going to affect a lot of teams when Tasmania are in their first couple of seasons into the comp

A bottom team is usually the product of poor management at a club. Instead of bringing in one rookie at a time, a witless club brings in a half-dozen or more. Almost all rookies forget how to kick a football or handball properly at AFL level. Their brains turn to mush.

Yeah, I don't mind having a "Dreamtime at the G" match every year....but these Indigenous rounds are taking things way too far nowadays....especially with the jumpers and the name changes.
