Do you have a Nigerian historian friend who tells you all these things? Are one of your parents Nigerian? I've learnt more from you than Nigerian KZfaqrs.

Hello Jan Jan, none of those in fat. I also learn a lot doing these videos. I use to do some research before and while editing. This is the positive aspect of these videos for me, i 've got to learn a lot of things i did not know. For that video i spent several hours reading articles and research about Ojo, the festivals and different things you can see appearing in the video. I wsh i knew a historian to help me to go deeper, has in many cases i cannot verify the informations i am reading. thanks a lot for your comment, i am glad you appreciate that aspect of the videos.

I guess i would have to invest in another computer to encode this enormous 4k files. they are so huge that my actual laptop sometimes feels difficult to encode them... i wish you a very good day !

Thank you for showing me more interesting areas of Lagos Nigeria. I particularly enjoyed the stop to watch the sand men wading in the water going back and forth carrying the sand from the boats to the shore. Those young men have my admiration for the strength and endurance they displayed. The man hanging on the side of the mini-bus passing change to customers was thrilling to watch. Another favorite part of the ride is the drive through the market place. The constant motion of people wearing clothes in beautiful, vibrant, gorgeous colors were a delight to my eyes. The boy who kept kicking at something until his sandal finally flew off was fun to watch. I was glad to see that he retrieved his sandal before moving on. He is an example of the local citizens just going about their everyday lives. Still I am bothered by the harsh living conditions that some citizens of Lagos have to endure. You show areas of Nigeria that tourists are probably shielded from seeing or don't want to see. Through your videos I am gaining a better understanding of why there is social unrest in Nigeria.

You can tell this similar story anywhere in the world. I have lived in the States for years and beautiful as we are main to believe you will be surprised to see many areas that will shock you. Thanks TS, it depends of the km i do. i would say that i do between 8 to 12 000 km with a tire if there is no major incident happening to it.

Great videos. But problems there in Lagos: People walk in the middle of the street. Drive both directions and what few or sometimes no traffic lights. Folks are sure lucky not to get in accidents more.

I have seen other people do travel videos you definitely have a style of your own and you should stick to it hope you will do one of Cotonou now that you have done Lomé I must say that it’s a neat city

Thumbs up👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 for your efforts as always, but defo a thumbs down 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 for the littering on most of the streets/roads and market, and the eroding of the sea bed for sand, and its impact. I genuinely found those parts difficult to take in. Everywhere just seems to be a cesspit of litter, with my people going about their business with neither care nor alarm. 🙈🤯 No one should bother coming back with the ignorant rebuttal of 'large population' as an excuse for this level of littering and filth!!! 🤥

I love the vibrancy of these videos, the colours, sounds and the people. I can only imagine the smells and tastes of the goods on offer. There does seem to be a lack of maintenance of the infrastructure, and rubbish strewn everywhere.

@6:34 Why are there always open gaps in the ground? On the right where the sidewalk should be. Why is that space wide open. Such a safety hazard. Anyone could fall in.

just open sewer, or gutters has you can see in many big cities in Africa... that is really dangerous yes !
