I saw the title and I was like, "How's he gonna pull *this* one off?" And the answer is: the only way Tommy can. What a performance! I especially like the faster tempo change when the solo starts. Such a classic and rich voice. Sadly, as much as his voice stirs our passions and kick-starts our adrenaline, the mainstream has moved on from this type of sound. I am eternally grateful for platforms like this that allow super-talented individuals to shine despite not being a super-popular world stage touring artist. In my opinion, todays singers can't hold a candle to this type of vocal range and power.

Absolutely epic as always! Plus your timing is perfect as this is a song my wife and I hold dear to us as we went to Africa for our honeymoon 15 years ago this year. This week my wife had major surgery to save her leg (all went well) and this put a huge smile on both our faces! Thank you.

@@dehnerts thanks! I just did. I have never heard of them before, but I see they are very popular with 4.5 million fans and 56 million views on this song! That’s quite impressive. I thought it was a very interesting rendition of the song, I appreciate the heaviness of it. I wasn’t a big fan of his vocals, though obviously many others would disagree with me. I wouldn’t listen to that version of the song more than this one time, it just wasn’t pleasing to my ear. That being said I thank you for putting them on my radar, and I definitely will check out more of their music! Thanks Brian!

I have always been into metal music, and this is WAY too mainstream pop for me, definitely was not listening to this kind of music in the 80’s. Thanks for pointing it out though!

Don't know what to say... if Toto wrote that song 40 years later, it pretty much would have been what you created here: absolutely gorgeous!!! The slight rasp in your voice, the pressure behind it at some passages - the harder, but still melodic sound of the guitarr compared to the orignial, everything is aesthetic and on point. I love it!

I've decided to delay listening to your releases until Sunday morning US Eastern time.
