Have African Americans fixed all the extreme injustices, homelessness, poverty, lynching, poor housing, etc in America? One has to fix his home first before he can go over to help the neighbour fix his home.

That’s nonsense. If that is the case, no Africans should be living any where else in the world. The complaints that African Americans have about africa have nothing to do with the problems they have in America. That’s silly and immature. We need to stick to the arguments and deal with them without the additional personal things

@@OshayDukeJackson Foolishness, think about it. Your house is dirty and evil. You have to clean your house first before going over to help your neighbour clean his dirty house. Do you ever think about your nonsense and foolishness? Do you live in a cave? You keep traveling back and forth why? Is America not your home? America needs some serious clean up. You are needed there to help clean America of it's extreme injustices, mass incarceration of your people, homelessness, colour issues, food Stamps, homelessness, etc. THINK! CAVE MAN! You are running from your own shadow! Use your nonsense and foolishness help fix your country first before going over to help a continent. Madness! DO YOU REALLY THINK AND REASON?

@@niiamu3300 that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. It's like me saying: Hey your car lights are out...and you saying: WELL YOUR BREATH STINKS. While my breath may stink, that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE initial ARGUMENT. That is called an "AD HOMINEM." You are using another argument to address the initial argument instead of dealing with the position.

@@BonsuBigWhale that maybe true but at least rawanda "rebuilt" And the very Idea of africans from the diaspora esp African Americans going back and caring is in itself revolutionary and a part of the solution to our problems as African people globally. And in this discussion while Valid and necessary, is overlooking a related issue of which I who have never yet been to Africa, have via KZfaq And it's this Africa is composed of over 50 separate counties With a total population of around 1 billion I know of one African lady farmer whose methods are so effective she is very wealthy Has at least one school where she teaches anyone how to replicate her methodology All you need is one acre of land and a few farm animals and no one in Africa and many other places in the world should need to import food or migrate to Europe for "opportunities " And then there is the lies big and small that the same white Europeans in Africa and amercia and the rest of the world , This is why 99 percent of the problems in Africa are by the same people some of us are trying to get away from. They regularly tell the world trough thier media that africans and African Americans indeed any human with dark skin Is bad a criminal ,a monster Africans are and where all poor ugly ignorant savages that needed to be civilised by "the west" Meaning invaded and exploited due to pathological ignorance and perhaps a profound sense of inadequacy that persist to this day. So are thier problems in Africa yep Most caused by the same group of people And yes African Americans need to stop cooperating with a group of people who continue To have a extremely pathological and abusive relationship to us themselves and the world.

Yet with all of the billions taken over decades it is still one of the poorest countries on earth. A shiny Kigali is all that there is to show for same. I've worked in DRC and in Asia. While in Asia, I noticed that.... All of the successful countries there are using Pre-WWII Japanese Economic Model, Education and Security (Military).... All of the countries that are using Western System are either failing or Under Performing. One example is Vietnam.... In 1990s, US and Vietnam signed "End of Hostility" Agreement.... From then on... It began to strengthen its Military, Education and Infrastructures.... The projection now is that Vietnam will surpass Nigeria GDP in 3 to 5 years.... The same thing is also happening in Cambodia.... They're all trying to move away from relying on Natural Resources as their main source of income to their educated people as the driving force to move them to the future.

"These are the way things are in my country. And, I'm OK with it." Coming from the USA with major cultural problems, particularly against Indigenous Americans and African Americans, there is never a moment wherein we can say that this is the way things are and that we are OK with it. We push back against these things every single day, despite the forceful resistance (and even violence) of the majority who do not want to improve. Wherever we are in the world, self-improvement, cultural improvement, city-wide and nation-wide improvement must always be the order of the day.

It's a very tricky and delicate situation to criticize without offending the citizens of the country. To criticise constructively is a skill which most of us do not possess Criticism also needs an understanding of the underlying dynamics that cause the problem in the first place. I have seen people criticizing SA for example without a full understand of the problems and what is done to solve them. I'm not saying don't criticise but be mindful of sensitivities because there is a thin line between criticism and rubbing the people the wrong way.

The first priority for African Americans in Africa is to take a break and learn the culture and especially the Swahili language in their new environment. They have absolutely no business immersing themselves in local politics. That will come later after they're integrated. That's what the Indians and Chinese do.... they put their heads down and focus on growing their best businesses.

I agree with you Oshey, but I think that "our own" should not put our flaws out there. The rest of the world is after our race and you guys should try to protect us. We don't like what is happening but there are better ways to correct the issues. I once saw a video of you and other AA men discussing openly what you want to do to help the continent. It was great and it is the reason I still look you up, but....if you expose your ideas, other people are watching, they will fail you.

February covid-19 2022 Only Until Africans see for themselves, and realize a need for that change to occur then it will. Colonialism, tribalism are are some of the barriers and challenges To overcome.,that keeps us disunified for the common-collective well-being and progress as a whole. Our Western African diaspora perspective and sensibilities will not be tolerated. But, our questions maybe taken as critical disruptions to their norms. Fear and hostilities are a response to change. It's an evolving ongoing process we've yet to merge into an ideological cohesion which we all can benefit from, instead of exploiting one anothers advantages or disadvantages. As Africa being the host country of our repatriation they first have to see how we can best reintegrate back into our native culture., or do we just "go along to get along" for now.

You can’t go to someone else’s house and disrespect them. If you see a problem, it’s going to come down to how you present/deliver it. When you move to any African country and complain roads are bad, then start a construction company. If lights goes out then invest in solar panels. If you moved to any African country from USA don’t forget about major issues in many inner cities in USA. Abi-no-bi-so?

African Americans need to create our own country in Africa. It would be the most successful country on the Continent with the best military. And then the men will marry the best African women, and we create our own culture and can "go home".

Oshay , Joanita mentioned something in the last interview about how Black Americans have a different mindset from those on the continent...which is true..If we visit, we must understand that we have different views on things especially when it comes to living, dealing with those "colonizers" and relationships...it would be best to just link up with those on the continent that have a similar mindset, you will have to adjust, get comfortable with somethings...hell even the whites that visit there complain ..they got a lot of nerve anyway 🤣

Africa does move the pendulum for all of us globally. Just as Oshay corrected observed China does. Its even why, in every major black city there are up to 20 black women who go by the name "Asia" or "Chyna", many of whom don't have any visible asian ancestry. Its also why this very guest visited Dubai. That locale's gravity sucked her in. Same idea really. relevant comment from timeline: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ndeWYNOD08XdqWg.html

Open mind is one thing, acceptance of things that can and need to be fixed is another. The House of Africa was left to those who are there. They are responsible to clean and maintain the house. However the house of Africa also belongs to all the DNA children of Africa. The world does not respect Africa that is a fact. Many Africans want a better life and hope for their children and those who can leave Africa....That is a problem, do not tell me about Africans working at Nasa etc etc. They should be working in Africa for the benefit of Africa and Africans. Do not insult the children of Africa by telling us to fix the house of the Americas it is not our house never was...That is a defensive and weak mindset that is not worthy of a real African....Our house is the house of Africa like it or not. Either Africans fix Africa or the children of Africa will have too...Africa cannot continue to be disrespected, raped and the men looked upon and treated as boys. How any African man can listen too non black people telling them what to do in the house of Africa is SHAMEFUL.The women, the youth as well as the ancestors see this as we do outside of Africa. Money and investment alone will not fix the real problem. Which is the acceptance of being disrespected by the non black people in all of Africa. Africans need to see each other first as having a common cause. Which is a free Africa controlled by the native Africans of each nation. For those who are into religion I say this God is never angry at the wolf for eating the sheep. The lesson is stop being the sheep.

My boy Oshay this is a great conversation. Its a shame that most people don't like criticism and yet keep complaining everyday about poor infrastructure and mediocre government services. I am from Kenya and this is election year. All I see in the media is BS conversation among our elite politician that has nothing to do with our current economic turmoil. They have already started dividing us into tribes based on alliances they make with leaders from different regions. What upset me the most is this shit has been happening for decades and yet people still fall for it. Well, I hope conversation like this maybe will make them wake up
