As a native English speaker, the first time I heard it, I kept thinking the language sounded like English but wasn't sure of the words...all right!!!

they are all meaningless invented words that seem to be English but are not. Celentano made this song, it was a provocation towards politics and not only that, it highlighted the problem of the incomprehensibility of the speeches that people made at all levels

The song was released in 1972, and this version is from an Italian TV show in the mid 1970s. The lyrics are gibberish, but intended to sound like American English to Italian speakers.

@@nickcalabrese5764- Mega famous in Italy. It actually was released in the US on Columbia Records, first as a radio station promo in 1972, and then as a single in 1973.

😄 Go girl! Let's dance! 😄😄😄 You just discovered why Celentano is called "The Springy", since he has an unique way to dance. The song is from 1973, maybe the first rap song of all time (anyway, one of the first), and Celentano said that it "talks" about incommunicability. We humans often are unable to communicate to each other, not because the language, but because we care only about ourselves and don't try to understand each other. Celentano gave to the word "Prisencolinensinainciusol" the meaning of "universal love", maybe meaning that the Love could unite all of us. 🙂 Thank you Fay, I enjoyed your reaction and your amusement.
