African penguins live amongst the people of busy Cape Town, South Africa. To return to their nests in residential gardens, these penguins huddle together as they cross streets during rush hour traffic.

How unbelieveable that they are able to live in the city, like many animals here also do. But they are really living risky with all the traffic and dangerous situations. But so nice to see the cute Penguins, very great footage!

This isn't fun. I'm just left worried about how many get squashed on the road and wondering why something isn't going to being done to keep them safe, or to move them somewhere safer.

i've read somewhere that they migrated to this island with humans already settled. and the reason they don't mind the city life is because the place doesn't attract land predators.

Poor little munchkins... Our species has invaded all. We have a moral obligation to give back as we can... be it via a pollinator garden, guerrilla gardening with natives and what not... So sad.

This is their natural habitat… more have been forced here since the 80s because of fisheries elsewhere depleting their food sources and the city keeping away most predators

I am sick and tired of always only seeing penguins over and over. They do not interest in them seeing th3 once is enough. Every other times is the same
