A Mid Range African Safari costs around $3,000. This will give you a really comfortable safari that has good accommodation, transportation and possibly, some time on the beach.

In Kenya, plenty of vendors will give you a great cheap Safari. I use Ecoworld Safaris. $350 for 2 nights and 3 days in luxury tented camp inclusive of all meals, exclusive of park entry. They will tailor a safari to your needs. Mine was to Maasai Mara. I added the Balloon safari for $400 extra, well worth it. Driver/guide was superb. I stress this was Safari only, I have my own house in Kenya and family

I've done the high end to middle range accommodation and equally, the highlight is the safari and the tour guide who is knowledgeable to do the safari. Accommodation is just a place to sleep and change. Honestly, you don't need the high end. Mid range accommodation is still better. You'll remember more the safari than the accommodation .

My safari in the Maissa Mara was 3 days with meals. It was budget with hotel pickup in Nairobi; tent had tiled bathroom and tin roof, porch and concrete sidewalks. I opted for a hot air balloon ride with champagne breakfast. All this for around $900. Yes, a land rover would have been greater than our van and electricity was only a few ours per day. I saw plenty of animals. It was great seeing a lion resting by side of rode 10 feet away and flying over a forested area and looking at elephants eating tree leaves. Electricity was only a few hours per day. Druver/guide

Having done several Safaris, I would suggest you sell the kids and go for the top of the range ones. One on one with a top class Ranger, in your own vehicle for 4 days, then out to the coast for a stunning beach holiday. A luxury Safari really is a once in a life time experience, go for the best.

My driver/guide was knowledgeable. A visit to a nearby Massai compound was included. Tips extra. It was worth it. Later I did a 1 day land and boat safari along the Chobi River in Botswana. This was in a landrover and boat. I saw hundreds of elephants and lots of water buffalo and hippopotamus to complement the countless zebras and giraffes and other animals seen earlier in Kenya. I was in the boat 10 feet away from a huge crocodile. Fabulous buffet lunch in an upscale open air restaurant overlooking the river. Pickup from my hotel in Victoria Falls. Price about $100. The 2 safaris, 4 days, including hot air balloon was about $1000 plus tips, not $3,000. Oh, I paid around $600 roundtrip New York to Nairobi. With a 10 hour layover in London I got in the Tube and took a $50 guided tour down (or up) the Thsmed.

I saw lions and leopards. The first lion I saw was predawn, on my way to my balloon ride. He was 15 feet away and caught in our headlights. He was sleepy and casually turned his head to look at us. I saw a leopard in a tree and several lounging under a tree and one scouting for prey from a mound.

Thanks for the great content, I just want to know whether the park entry fees is for a whole trip per head or per day basis.. USD 60 per head during peak season , per head for a single entry or we have to pay for 60*5 days if we planned to stay inside the park for 5 days. Kindly clarify

Anthony, thanks for your Video. I have done quite a few salaries ( 20 + ) Masai Mara Luanga, Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Serengeti and Okovana Delta I have done the high end ones but feel that the mid range are just as enjoyable. The main factor I believe is your guide, he can make or break your stay. Today a good tented safari is I believe the way to go, food can be amazing and sat by an open fire at night listening to all the African sounds is incredible.

Absolutely every thing you said is spot on. I went on Safari back in 2018 in the Masai and my goodness! What a time. We stayed at a beautiful hotel inside the park, it was not high end, but very very nice. I loved waking up in the morning looking out at the park, my God what a view! The tour was set up by the lead person in our group (About 10 persons in all) and we had very good drivers and guides, they knew the park very well and took us to another park not too far from Kenya. We were also there for a Church Conference and went on the Safari a few days later. You are correct sir, it was a six or seven hour drive from Nairobi to the Mara, and bumpy as every and hot!!! But I would do it again tomorrow! We had breakfast in the Masai (Even saw two female lions go right pass us while we were eating!!) and took an air balloon ride early one morning. Man what a time!! So many memories!!!! Wonderful time, now I"m in the process of planning another Safari in South Africa with my family. Cannot wait!!!

The best time to visit Kenya and Tanzania is between July and September. It's the hot and dry season and it will be easier to see lots of animals during this time since they will be gathered around watering holes and the grass will be shorter. I have a video on this topic on my channel. Check in the recent uploads "worst time to go on Safari" Check out the following mid range safaris. www.safaribookings.com/tours/kenya?P23BZVD&#min_no_of_days=7,max_no_of_days=10,min_price=2000,max_price=4000 When looking for a safari company, here is an article I wrote on the steps: eastafricatraveltips.com/how-to-choose-a-safari-company-in-10-easy-steps/ You will need to be vaccinated before coming. There are current hotspots but it seems like things are coming back to normal with people traveling freely.

God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and *please repent.*
