Sister Tati. Greetings to you. I am African American. Within our culture, when we have family gatherings, it is typically the males who do the grilling as well! Never ever would we, as women, do this when all of the men in the family are around. The most we may do is season the meat inside. Maybe....this phenomenon has been past down to us by our ancestors and we don't know.

That looks like the perfect dinner to me! It's so interesting to me that a typical sort of dinner is so similar across continents (I'm in the USA). Simple spice rubbed grilled/roasted meat, a simply prepared startch, a bit of salad. Delicious! What a beautiful location.. I always enjoy your videos! Thanks for sharing!

That meat is so fresh wow I miss the freshness and quality of meats in Africa. The animals are treated well and have good lives on our soils. I’m in the West now but the meat is terrible and cancer causing. I’m salivating just watching 😂

as an east african i say without a shadow of a doubt what you say is true. In my travels beef in southern african countries far far far faaaaar exceeds that in my country kenya. I remember namibian beef esp very fondly. All in all a shout out to the beef in the southern africa region.

There’s a thing called the carnivore diet. All I mainly eat is meat. Zero carbs on meat. Red meat , in particular, is nutrient dense & produces satiety. I lost a lot of weight eating meat only. All the inflammation in my body died down. There are a lot of carnivores here on KZfaq.

Hallo Tatiana, its been a while for me visiting. To avoid confusion to many viewers "Pap" is the equivalent of "ugali" here in kenya. Some people erroneously think ugali is unique to kenya. Each ethnic group in kenya has a word for it and ugali is the kiswahili word for it. Even the packet of maize flour is identical to that sold here in kenya. Perhaps commenters can Errrrm.... Tatiana.... on a personal note am concerned at your handling skills i just witnessed you using when cooking the pap, you have to learn how to handle that stick like a pro. Some ethnic group i know in kenya take this skill very very seriously that it is used to assess a lady as wife material or not.
