That happened to me,at work, back in the early 90's. A white lady was upset with me sitting at a table with all black friends. I told her i see whites, Mexicans, and Asians sitting together... Why is it a problem when black people sit together???? She didn't know what to say...

@Ontheroxxwithsalt Interesting that this logic isn't applied to the Jews, who various people have hated and scorned for their debt games all throughout history, but you're attempting to apply it to a people who have no history of indebting, enslaving, or colonizing other groups of people, while being a person from the group who has done all that. Funny how that works. Irony is lost on neanderthals.

You are right, I attempted to talk to my black co-workers several times and saw this. Being an African who immigrated to America, I could not understand this. They only talked to me in private. When I finally realized it, I was shocked. That was so right because white people had the tendency to look at us intensively when it came to that. This is definitely the absence of freedom!! I vowed to myself not to fall into this trap and live my freedom to the fullest. I talked to black folks who were predisposed to talk to me, period. White folks who are not happy with this must go to hell.

They would gossip, plot, plan, and even raise a voice in frustration, but that was seen as being "the administration." When we gathered for any reason, the interruptions were constant, and without knowing the topic, would assume a problem. Even reminded us regularly to bring any concerns to their attention to prevent conflict. They never spoke to the others that way. In reality, they generated the conflict.

I've worked several jobs where they would clock watch when you go to lunch but when it's their turn they would come back late, slowly strolling in, laughing, and talking like nothing ever happened. The boss would always act like he didn't see it and when you pointed it out to him or upper mgmt then you were made out to be the problem.

I worked nights, 6p-5:30a, with 3 white ladies once. Every night they would go out to “smoke” for about an hour, and leave me there with all the work to complete. I caught on quick so when they would go out on their smoke break I went right alone with them. That way WE ALL would get called in if something went down. Needless to say the “breaks” stopped.

So one day we were discussing how to distinguish between us. It's at this point a White marine suggested I be referred to as "White Jones" and the other "Black Jones" I was White Jones because I speak with "proper grammar". I simply asked the white marine why am I being referred to as "White Jones" he got quiet. Didn't accuse him of anything, just started asking trick questions with uncomfortable answers.
