Trophy hunting is a controversial and divisive issue. There are differing opinions about whether trophy hunting is ethical or appropriate, and the issue is complex and multifaceted. In Kenya it was banned because of Mama Ngina (wife of 1st president) who carried out poaching activities and banned hunting to eliminate the competition and avoid criticism. But kenya changed since then and what i like about wildlife conservation in Kenya is that it is carried out by the local kenyans instead of some white folk
@AfricanSunProductions
@AfricanSunProductions Жыл бұрын
It truly is a controversial issue but only due to misinformation. You cannot judge every hunt or every hunter by the same standards as others. Many people hunt for the trophy, agreed, many others hunt for the bigger picture. Hunting is still the backbone of conservation here in Africa. Until there is a better alternative, I'll support it even if it's run by some white folk or some black folk. The end result should be beneficial to wildlife as a whole.

Kenya banned legal hunting in 1977... Today there is about 20 000 km2 of organic wilderness with a healthy enough ecosystem that still sustains large game in healthy numbers... Tanzania has continued legal hunting and today there is still over 400 000km2 of virgin wilderness that sustains large game species... So much so that there are more wild lion left in Tanzania than the rest of Africa combined... Hunting is ecological husbandry... That is why hunting is conservation...

Hi Dennis. There are many black people hunting legally like this. I'm not sure why they don't want to be filmed though, that is something you have to take up with them personally. I can only make movies of the people that contact me for it.

It was emotional to watch the leopard kill. I couldn’t help but to feel sad for the animal, but I understand the sport as long as it’s done with upmost respect the way they have done.

I agree, it's not always pleasant to watch but if there is a bigger reason behind it all, I can be OK with it. Thanks for watching, much appreciated.
