S500 prometheus. Ha ha ha, 😂 🤣 😆 bula my brother. God said to Abraham I will bless you and my people and that's why black people got bless. So why we got bless by God? Because our ancestors lead by God, feed by God, look after by God, dress up by God, a shelter on there head by God, and a place in this world prepared by God. So only one thing I wanna tell all black people s in the world, we all knows gods history very well because our ancestors seen it. But, the future is with black people but, we still didn't own the future. So let's not 4get about the rest of the people in this world by letting them knows that the future is not only 4 black people, is 4 everyone. Black or white, brown, is 4 everyone. Anyway! That's true. We've been bless by God.

@@jarednovel. I do believe that all back people came from Africa. I remember one of a black man singer from Jamaica or African, he said that if you a black you are African. People say that indigenous Fijian originated from Taiwan and I don't agree with that. I fully agree that black Taiwanese people a part African that means their blood is already mixed with Asian people, and just exactly the same with my Polynesian brothers. Some says that we came from lapita and I don't agree with that too. If the world brings one original African and one Fijian from VUDA to stand side by side together, they will says that they both African. Yes I believe that Taiwan a mixed in the pacific, yes I believe that lapita a mixed in Fiji, but I don't believe that the people from vuda are mixed with one of this two tribes. I 100% believe that this people from vuda are original African. They indigenous Fijian and original African. God jesus and the holy spirit created only one human beings call Adam and Eve, and that's where we all humans came from. If we take a good look at original African, there a 4 different colours of people. (1) shinning black call indigo. (2) black. (3) dark brown. (4) brown. But they have all the same dried Kelly afro hair. They all over the world from sunsets to sunrise. Put it this way, if you black to brown with dried hair, you still got a 80 to 100% African blood inside you, but if you a black or brown with with long hair that means you're half African. So the people from vuda in Fiji a original African not mixed. Today we all mixed with the brothers through the hold pacific nations, but let me tell you again that the people living in vuda today still look original from Africa. It's really painful from our ancestors from vuda what people saying that we are not African. Who the he'll is this people. They must be just living in Fiji 4 only 10 to 20 years ago. They don't know shit about Fiji.

@RosalindGash
@RosalindGash 2 жыл бұрын
It's not just dark skin. It's also the physical characteristics. The Africans who migrated to Asia and then into the *isolated* islands of the Pacific would - in the absence of other genetic traits coming into the population in high rates and diluting the original genetics - pass down the original African physical characteristics (including skin color) to their offspring who would then pass them down to their offspring, and so on and so forth. So, they don't have to be from Africa in recent times to have *origins* in Africa. Also, the continent of Africa has the most diverse people groups in the world and the most diverse gene pool. Ethiopians don't look like Nigerians, but they're both African. There isn't one type of African "look". Educate yourself before you speak.

They are not Afro-Fijians, Fiji was settled first by the Lapita culture, around 1,500-1,000 years BCE, followed by a large influx of people with predominantly Melanesian genetics about the time of the beginning of the Common Era. They don't have any direct African ancestry, so your header is not correct, ask any real historian.

For your information my friend , Fijians don't have roots in Africa. DNA and it's language points to Taiwan. Fijians use the Tagalog vowels when they speak. It's origins trace back to Asia namely Taiwan. This vowels is strongly used in Japan as well. The Tagalog vowels which is also used across the Polynesia archipelago is (A,E,I,O,U) which for a start does not exist in any part of Africa. Secondly , our DNA which is the ultimate proof shows no direct link to Africa but Asia and the South Pacific and in most cases , Amazon. If there was any DNA link , then it would probably be a one off night stand type thing. People in Fiji are not well informed of this issue because they rely on hear say stories over kava or similar type setting and make decisions based on similar vowel sounds as suggested with the "Tanganyika" fib where in our language, it's pronounced " Tagani-ika).Two separate words describing fish in a sack and not one straight word which would have sound Taqanika (Notice the "Q" in this spelling) as oppose to the above from Africa. Our DNA points to Asia where our numbers are so similar to that of Taiwan , Filipinas , down to Indonesia. None of it exist in any part of Africa. Our double decked canoes in the past use to carry more than 3000 men and women. Their features probably changed somewhere between Indonesia and Melanesia. Though Fijians look like Melanesian's,( Dark Skinned ) their culture and language are that of Polynesia.(Lighter Skinned) Melanesians don't have chiefly systems and protocols as those in Polynesia like The Kingdom Tonga for an example. Melanesia just have like some sort of a headman's of its group similar to a chief but that's all there is to it, A chief. Watching this video makes me sad because of the mis information these market vendors are carrying around as if it's true when It's not. That tour guide lady was totally oblivious to the potential damage she could be causing us Fijians to the outside world. Govt needs to put laws in place to control those type's of promotions where an inexperienced individual is involved. I am saying this from a sincere heart who has business interest in Fiji as well. I have shown this video to friends and so far one even responded with disgust and said that lady doesn't even know the Fintel building but she knows how to rot a tourist. On the same token, your video is the first where I've seen someone mention the term 'Black" Fijians. It's usually Melanesians or Polynesians. We weren't slaves in history but fierce warriors who established itself in Fiji some thousand years back and which was called" Fisi" by the Tongans or "Viti" in Fijian. These three countries are related one way or the other, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji. I hope this should shed some light as who we truly we are as Fijians. Have nothing against Africans either but rather not allow people carrying on fib hear say stories where it has become somewhat real to those market vendors. Goodness knows how far those stories have gone. Please stick to the DNA and vowels theory as proof, that's all. Peace. Here's one proof of many kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m95mY5Zyu9OXhHk.html

Indians not shipped to Fiji in 1800s they not all of them came as slaves to work in cotton and sugar plantations. When their contracts expired some went back some went back to India. Some stayed on and kept working married their kids grandkids also REMARRIED to other races so on and so forth. So they born in Fiji islands most of the descendants alive now. Some have migrated to other countries never came back again. Likewise other races who born bred in Fiji islands. Fiji is a multiracial country many races and mixed races. Some always say that they not Fijians. The law states that anyone born in Fiji is a Fijian nationality by birth right. Traditional is the race thingy. It is just that they Indians never went back most of them to India because most have no record with them of where they originally came from. Which is kinda weird since India is an early civilization compared to Fiji in terms of English Language Literature mostly. Those that came in the ship Leonidas were looking for jobs and Fiji Fiji happened to be a new British colony that generation and decades whereas India was already a British Colony long time. Yes they were living in congested barracks of the farms many men and only few women came. So they were like polygamous society in the cotton and sugar cane plantations where the women were the mullahs not the men. Women with many husbands so you see most having same surnames for decades. When they were allowed to venture out some married to other races which is why you see nearly all Fijian homes of any race can cook roti curry all the time. Many came looking for jobs some were slaves some were living in Polygamous society like the Indians. Now those stuffs ain't written as Historical importance in Fiji to be studied in detail in history subject of schools taking it. As already they trying to lessen the polygamy society amongst KaiViti first settlers where men with many wives and concubines and again another race came many men few women. Don't you see what Colonialism brought to an already polygamous society???????? Yeah so multiracialism was encouraged where they all can live in peace and harmony with one wife one husband monogamous society.

Now after that 1800s working expeditions from India by the British colonizers, many more came later centuries decades not from India but from other countries to work and to be married and education. Maybe those still have records of their places in India or whatever country they immigrated from as they came later than the 1800s. One good example is meself fellow high school teacher back in the decades. She from India as well but came much later to Fiji for marriage her name is Minkshi Maharaj a lecturer at University of Fiji Lautoka campus Saweni there. You go ask her she tell you that most like her came much later NOT SHIPPED FROM INDIA IN 1800s at all. So yeah have to do proper research all the time before commenting about RACE THINGY IN FIJI. As those 1800s ancestors of all races are all skeletons in their graves or ashes for centuries generations now
