As an Afro-latina, hair has been a very big part of my life. I have let it grow, added a "derrizado" (as Dominicans say), to get my hair straight, I have had it curly, and recently, I've had locs. The hair journey is real to the culture so let's see how hair and identity relates. This video is for world language educators or anyone who would like to know more about hair and Afro-Latinos.
