I think we're all forgetting about Amado he can still turn kawaki karma off at any point in time and do whatever he is planning,like possibly tryna gain omnipotence by using kawaki in some way to bring back his daughter or something like that.

I think he still is affected, because he’s affected by Eida’s other ability. This is where watching the anime pays off, because Sarada actually got kind of close to Kawaki in the anime. They had multiple interactions and heart to hearts before he even joined Team 7. So even if it is switched, it would be the same. But the most important evidence is that he chased Boruto for 2 years as if he is the Kawaki that he hated since they were kids. If he knew they were switched he would have gone to Konoha after Kawaki with his 10 tails army sooner instead of chasing Boruto around for 2 years. Kawaki is broken, but I think even he would fall to Code that has a large 10 tails army like that, especially if he went after him prior to his power increase during the TS.
