Thanks for addressing miscarriage. I’d love to see a video dedicated to multiple miscarriages. I just had my second in a row this past Easter. I’m 37 as of March and had my first miscarriage which was mmc last sept at age 36. At 33 I had my daughter and it was a super easy and healthy pregnancy and delivery with her and all my diagnostic tests and blood tests have proven to be “normal”. I would love to see a specialist addressing multiple miscarriage. It seems to be so taboo still and it’s time it wasn’t.

I have PCOS. I just turned 41 in May. I have 2 sons. I had a miscarriage last October, my first that I know of because I took a tests and they were positive but bleeding started day after. So was an early loss. I never heard before about being more fertile after a miscarriage. I think I am pregnant right now. I feel off and feeling so many new to me things and things I felt during my 2 pregnancies. I’m buying a test today and taking it, period was expected today too. 🌸 I’m excited and I feel sure, but taking the test I know I will be scared it will be negative and then have to wait to take another or my period will come, as this has happened many many times before. 🌸💝

I had a chemical miscarriage last month… while at work covering L&D as a midwife. It was my first pregnancy at 36, and I was so excited. It was completely devastating welcoming new babies as my heart was breaking, but I kept working and didn’t tell anyone except one of my co-workers who trended my beta levels for me throughout the week. We want to try again as soon as possible but I’m so scared the same thing will happen again. Thank you for this video! As many women as I have counseled through having a miscarriage, it’s so different when you are the one experiencing it yourself.

In September 2021, I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks. I had PPROM and was likely due to an infection. I had to have 2 D&Cs (a month apart due to retained products of conception) and a couple of months ago, a myomectomy, to remove a fibroid that grew astronomically during my pregnancy. It was incredibly difficult to find reliable resources to turn to on what happens after a miscarriage and because of COVID, the usual support groups were not meeting. I'm hopeful that we will be able to try again this fall following lots of physical and emotional healing. Thank you for this video.

We found out we were pregnant here. Needless to say health care is very different here (not bad, but different) and of course the language barrier does not help. When I got pregnant last year after trying for so long and had a miscarriage. I was so excited that I told everyone and at 9 weeks I found out that the baby had stopped growing and had no heartbeat. I was devastated but numbed my pain after a day so I never really processed the loss and now it comes in waves. When I last the baby I didn’t have anyone to be there to support me or even check in with me so I do feel like I shouldn’t have a told anyone until I was certain. Now we been trying again and month after month it’s getting harder and harder to see that negative test.

@nataliecrawfordmd Can you be more specific about “high” numbers and “low numbers”? Is a 300 HCG high? Or 13,000? Or are those still low? Is 50 low or is that still too low to recruit a follicle? I’ve got my HCG’s and am tracking to zero, but how do I qualify the data? I started at 14,000 and now I’m at 20. Is that low or high in terms of egg recruitment for the next cycle?

I got a positive test, but started spotting and took a pregnancy test this week and didnt see a line, can I still be pregnant or is it miscarriage? I should be around 3 or 4 weeks. Went last week to the dr ans only saw a little sac, lime the tiniest one.

My DIL has had 3 MC z the first was early and her rainbow baby was born I 2021 .She miscarried again in June 2022, again fairly early. The third one was tragic she was 14 or 15 weeks by dates, but Amadea was 13 w +4 d. A nice healthy heartbeat just days before. They induces labor and a very tiny baby was born. Both of last 2 were girls, which are a premium in our family (my 4 boys have produced 6 boys and 1 girl). The happy ending is tha a double rain bow is due around Thanksgiving.

I had a miscarriage last month, oddly enough the week of my birthday. I was gestational 11wks and that Monday was my first ultrasound. Super excited to see my little chicken nuggets but as soon as the wand passed over it, I knew something was wrong. It should’ve had a baby shape and it didn’t. Since the tech could only see from that angle, she tried to say I was 6wks. I didn’t even bother to correct her. After meet with the OB who interpreted my scans, I gave her all of my pregnancy info and she agreed with me that something wasn’t right. She wanted me to come back a week later to see if there was any progression but I told her it probably wouldn’t last a week. And oh how right I was!!! Not even 30mins after leaving the doc’s office, I started cramping. The following day I started bleeding. Four days later, I gave birth to my 9wk old nugget and the placenta (no bigger that a Dorito) in my bathtub. I got in the tub to relax me because my contractions were so so bad. I’m glad I had made that decision. Getting to look at it extensively gave me some closure I didn’t know I needed. I had my follow up ultrasound apt 3 weeks later. My uterus is clear and the pregnancy test was negative. Fastforward 2 weeks (today), I’m pretty sure I’m pregnant again. I’m only 5dpo though. 7dpo I’ll be checking my progesterone levels using the Proov PdG strips. I had a terrible headache Tuesday, thick white discharge and vivid dreams up til now. All signs of high progesterone. I feel light cramping on and off today. I may or may not see spotting in two days but I’m def gonna start testing at 9dpo. I had a miscarriage in October. OB told me to wait 2 months to try again. Took Letrozole in January did not get pregnant, took letrozole again in February and had an IUI and the IUI failed. At that point im like I just need a break. I havent gotten pregnant yet. I have PCOS and before my miscarriage I had to induce my period with progesterone but after my miscarriage my periods come on their own. Should I allow my body time to get used to ovulation on its own again? It gets hard sometime when i have to be around 4 co workers who all have gotten pregnant after my miscarriage 😞

Dr Doctor, Based in France, I found your videos because of my numerous researches about fertility mysteries. I am now 42, I got pregnant 2 years ago but I had a miscarriage. Since then nothing. (It took me over 6 months to mentally get stronger). I have done the exams to start the process of assisted reproduction. My husband's results and mine look normal. We are both in good health. I exercise, I don't smoke, I don't drink alcohol or barely, I eat very clean but I can't get pregnant anymore. However I have a very strong feeling about pregnancy and carrying a baby. I definitely think my brain is controlling my body. To be honest I am not ready to suffer with all the medical assistance. I have been really sick with my last exam. It was very painful. I just experienced my first miscarriage at 24 after a year and a half of trying and it’s definetly the wordt thing tvat ever happened to me. I hot my first ultrasound at 6 weeks so it was only a dot and my second ultrasound was at week 9 and the obgyn told me there was no heartbeat and I got the pills to terminate the pregnancy and did it yesterday. I am truly devastated I know it was early on the pregnancy but since we have wanted this for a long time my mind instantly formed a connection and started imagining how motherhood would be and names and all that. It just felt like our world shattered and it’s so hard to stay positive.

Hello, thank you for this information, i found it very helpful. I am over the age 35. All my pregnancies and children have been healthy. I became pregnant trying to conceive our fourth and last child. And ended in a miscarriage and loss at 6 weeks. I just had a D&C procedure. My Obgyn performed an in-office procedure. She stated that the percentage was kind of high at 10 - 20% in developing uterine scar tissue, which would result in not being able to carry another pregnancy, and if that were to happen, would need another surgery to remove the scar tissue. I also found information online that there is a low risk of having the cervix weakened because of the procedure. I have a few questions that would be greatly appreciated if you could give your personal opinion on. My first question is, what is an estimated length of time that scar tissue would develop in the uterus after a D&C procedure, and what test can be done to check the uterus? Is it likely for the cervix to become weak after a D&C procedure? Can a doctor check to see if your cervix is weak or not? My concern with my cervix is that I am considered high risk due to short cervix in every pregnancy, have never needed a vaginal cerclage, but always have taken vaginal progesterone through every pregnancy and made it full term. So since I already have a condition with my cervix I do not want it to become weak because of a D&C procedure. And my final question, would you recommend waiting till my period returns and tracking for two cycles? I'm curious as to why my doctor recommended I could try the first month my menstrual cycle returns. How would you know it is regular, and how would you know you are ovulating? Also, if I take Clearblue Advanced opk test, and I get high or Peak readings, does this necessarily mean that I am ovulating my first cycle that returns? Thank you❤

I just suffered my second loss a few weeks ago. I chose misoprostol and will be having labs for thyroid and progesterone drawn soon. As I was doing research for misoprostol I kept reading stories and stories of women with recurrent losses but statistically they say only 1-2% of women will have recurrent losses. Do you think that this number might be higher than they think and needs more research or do you think this is an accurate analysis?

I have 3 children no issues during those pregnancies. After taking depo vera for a while I decided to top and try again my youngest is now 8 it took me a yr to conceive after stopping depo. But at 11 weeks I began to spot found out I had a miscarriage. The pregnancy stopped developing after 8 weeks. I did a dnc 2 days after I found out my period came three weeks after I ovulated. So, it's been 2 weeks since I had to take misoprostol for a MMC. I went in Thursday of last week the 16th of June. My hcg level was 19 and they want me go back this week. Does this mean I don't have any pregnancy tissue left behind? I am still having some bleeding every now and then and light cramps.

I am trying to trace my ovulation but the OPKs now show completely pale line throughout the cycle. I am taking vitamin D, folic acid, magnesium, zinc and selenium. Before taking vitamins I had a strong line indicating ovulation. Could you please elaborate on what could cause negative opk? Or it is just the fact that there is no ovulation? Thank you 🙏

I was told my baby is a blighted ovum last friday. Im given 3 choices and for now i choose to miscarry naturally. After a week i plan on going back just to confirm if it really is a blighted ovum or maybe there's development. If not,then ill follow the medication. I keep on reading that your hcg should be at 0 to have your periods. I'm 4 weeks after surgery to remove a foetus at 8 weeks (stopped growing at 6) I only bleeded a few days after surgery and got a check up everything was well a week later. Question about that potential second ovulation after a very early chemical pregnancy within that same cycle before the period, when it’s said you can ovulate as soon as 2 weeks afterwards. Is it 2 weeks after ovulation or 2 weeks after the failed implantation/chemical pregnancy? Or where does the 2 weeks come from? I can’t find data on this. So if you’re getting another LH surge 7 days after implantation of the chemical pregnancy does that mean you could ovulate again and potentially conceive before you get the period and before the next official cycle starts?
