I cannot begin to understand abandoning any pet, ever. I am currently 73 and I know where my 2 kitties will be should I suddenly pass away ( which I don't expect, but then who does!?). After My last dog passed I literally couldn't get out of bed for a month, the only thing worse would have been if I had left before him, he would have missed me soooo much. I know my two rescue kitties, now 13 would misse to but all cat owners know they are " inscrutable" & would probably hide for a month. Yup, can't imagine abandonment of family, ever.

I was trying to not think about it. It's already hard enough for animals ; every extra human problem comes on top of the long list that's weighing on their shoulders. But it's never too late to help them making THE difference. Because the fact is, THEY never disappoint and they don't add to the list. People must learn as quick as they do for their own sake and the world. Thank you for showing this lovely handsome ! Good dog🤞.

I have said several times, yes, it is difficult for some to make a commitment to a monthly donation except so little goes so far. I am a true companion on a fixed income. Often we want to help more than one organization, which is possible because believe you will find that small donations, from $5 and $10 monthly provide a dependable income steam. Hope for Paws has never turned away or walked away and there have been some edge of my seat rescues over time. For less than one of two items in a weekly grocery cart on a monthly schedule we can tip the scales to the good.

Brandon's a beautiful brindle boy, and it's nice how so many good ppl of LA wanted to help. It's a shame he was abandoned, but maybe that neighbor will adopt him? With that heavy undercoat, he must have some shepherd (or other double-coated breed) in him. Thanks again, HFP and LAAR!💕🐾☮️

Brandon finally got sweet home. But sweet family will watch Brandon because of his age. We all hope “Hope For Paws” have plenty of blankets. So, we’ll put nice blankets to homeless animals for Winter. Bring homeless animals to any shelters as soon as possible!

Thank you for rescuing Brandon! He's so sweet! It reminds me of when we adopted my goofy Siberian Husky, she tried to bury her treat in the carpet. I took her outside and de-shed her. It looked like it had snowed. The kids came home and said it did snow until they touched it.

aww, Brandon is a lovely pup and his teef are in good condition, too. I can't imagine the confusion this sweet boy faced in being abandoned like that. But I am so grateful to the kind neighbors and HFP teams for scooping him up and taking care of him. love you! 💙💙❤❤💖💖

Unfortunately, they have a good reason. I helped move a relative out of their rental. They let their dog do a lot of damage. When I said something they just said "well that's what the security deposit is for." No it's for accidental damage, minor damage, not for allowing your dog to deliberately cause damage. I'm pretty sure it was going to cost more than the deposit. Not to mention the time lost because the apartment couldn't be rented until it was fixed and it couldn't be fixed until a carpenter was available. So the rest of us pay a price because there are too many irresponsible owners. So many people and pets who lose out on the chance to be together. I wish I knew of a solution.😢
