Fun facts about the movie and book: The original “After” book was a fanfiction made for One Direction, that’s why they changed the name from Harry to Hardin. In the book, he was way more darker and angrier..most lustful. There were more sexual scenes in the book than the movie. The series was made into around 4-5 books. The book had all the One Direction members, Zayn, Niall, Louis, Harry and Liam. Before the book got famous, it had around 1M to about 5M reads already. (I know because I read it when it has around that time.) Since the book was so long, they had to cut out many important scenes that were in the book.

I am currently on book number four but I literally cannot stop watching either the movie or this video of just Hero’s scenes. I can’t get enough of Hero. @@switchedmemorys Toxic relationships can exist, but if your relationship starts off toxic as shit and borderline abusive (actually, the relationship IS emotionally abusive in the books), there's really no point rooting for the couple. I prefer the movies because yup, the relationship is flawed and sorta messed up, but a bet around 'falling in love' is more redeemable than one that concerns bloody sheets. I think Anna also just realised that romanticising abusive/toxic relationships like she did in the books wasn't healthy, and that's why she mellowed it down. Good on her, really.

@@switchedmemorys yeah, preferring the books is totally valid. Some people could definitely get into it. I'd say the books weren't good in my opinion, but I also didn't hate the entirety of the series. For a cinematic adaptation, the 'softening' of the relationship might've just been the better choice. But if you like the original story, no one ought to tell you you can't enjoy it.

I've always been a fan of After, I have all the books. The story of how many others on Wattpad is about the love of two teenagers but After spoke to me, Hardin Scott can't count how many times I said "we are similar" how many times I praised Therese for her behavior. So I can't accept how the creators of this film destroyed this story starting with Hardin's insight and ending with Mother Theresa's behavior, I'm shocked that Anna Tod let it This is no longer our After

Just finished this movie today and it was beautifully steamy hot. I so love it... Tessa's green eyes and Hardin's British accent as well as his so good looking face. They're so beautiful together. ❤ Can't help it but to be jealous why there is this on screen couple that looks perfectly gorgeous together. ❤😍❤ Lovely romance movies made my week...from To all the boys 1,2,3 then Kissing Booth 1 and 2, then I need to watched again AFTER before I watch the AFTER WE COLLIDE. The movie sucks. I would have preferred that they had made a series based on the books. That way they wouldn't change the essence of the saga and we would have more Hero scenes (which is the only thing that makes the movie good). We could have Hardin being Hardin like... Why not?!!!

I watched the movie not knowing it was a book series and didn’t think the movie was that great but hero is hot as fuck and they had good chemistry so I read the book and damn! They left out so much, and changed Hardin a lot, the books is amazing! I hope they stick to the story more in the second movie cause I like the casting.

Seeing these scenes is so different, wish I coul've watched it in english. Cause the german version just wasn't it. No Accent and his voice wasn't deep enough.
