As someone who has played Miitopia, this is INCREDIBLY accurate. This game is a head trip, but it clearly doesn't take itself too seriously. If you have a Switch, I highly recommend it.

I watched your video to the end. The animation I made is Miitopia story retold with TF2 characters. In fact, you need to play Miitopia to understand most of the context. 1. The baseball scout is based on a slime monster in the original game, some or most monster enemies were tricky to convert into TF2. 2. Some already mentioned that salt shakers are called sprinkles. Yes, they give HP, Mana, boost damage, give shields and resurrect one party member. 3. The random black cat is just something I added because of boredom, and I like cats. 4. I added the bionicle weapon used by Great Sage Heavy because I like bionicle since childhood. I am planning for a sequel based on post-story content that might be shorter than first part. But the problem is that I am very, very busy with university I am studying on. Hopefully I will make it. Heavy is without a joke my most played class in TF2, Heavy is my favourite character, I wish Heavy had more different gameplay styles like Fat Scout, but Fat Scout is just a meme, I find using minigun very boring. Sometimes I wish Heavy had a support alternative gameplay variation in which you can give multiple sandviches to teammates at the cost of removing the minigun. I was keeping Sniper for giving him the Elf job, I plan to make the sequel after finishing my other long video that I call it the spiritual successor because it has the similar style and elements that I used in this animation.

miitopia is as much of an acid trip as the video shows it is also the video is mostly accurate except when pyro the chef uses monster dinner on a boss 1: chef doesnt learn monster dinner until lvl 30, your team is around lvl 17 in that point in the game 2: monster dinner doesnt work on bosses also, as said by others several times, the "salt shakers" are called sprinkles, they can be used to replenish HP and MP (the yellow and green ones respectively) the various vehicles that show up periodically probably reference the horse from the switch version of the game. all the moves used by party members ARE actual moves in the game! human cannonball a favorite of mine the original video is a blast, and is surprisingly, very accurate to the actual game (also are these guys like... allergic to fun and whimsy?? they both sounded like they were taking this seriously, even the game itself doesnt do that.)

I used to have a friend that played Miitopia, got to learn a bit of the different classes from them. Was interesting to watch this movie. The story makes as much sense to me as the Mii StreetPass Quest game.
