I take all of our couch cushion covers off and put them in the washing machine! It makes a HUGE difference. We have 2 little ones and 3 dogs so they get nasty. I was worried at first they would be ruined, but I just went for it one day and now I would say I wash them about 4-5 times a year for the last 3 years and they are still perfect!

I definitely get the blues around he new year. My seven year old said our living room was sad after I put away the Christmas stuff. So, we went and bought some new, discounted lights and hung them on curtain rods and the banister. They're our Not Christmas lights and they're sparking all kinds of joy. 😍

Looks like the pillow covers come off. Have you considered through if the in the washing machine? I do with one and they come out so clean. Just let air dry.

Yes it always gets a little bit sad taking the Christmas decor down 😢 I also just uploaded my after Christmas clean up and watching it come down makes it even more sad. But like you said it’s great to have a fresh start ! Yes the toys have just been everywhere here, today I just got all the toys up stairs 🤦‍♀️

I put all my Christmas away dec 26th I like to get it done right away. Also I have a carpet cleaner that I love but also a steam cleaner is amazing I use it on my wood tile floors my furniture bathroom etc once a month in between the normal vacuuming and mopping etc. it makes a huge difference with allergens in my home

This motivated me to get up off my butt and start doing some much needed cleaning before I go to bed. I would love to see more cleaning and organizational videos. Sorry if this suggestion is off the wall and not related to this channel at all but I think it would be neat if Frank took us a long to show us what goes on during a full shift at the firehouse whenever there's no runs to go on. Happy New Year!! 😊

You should get a Chom Chom to clean dog hair. It works so good! It's on amazon. Raw Beauty Kristy got it for her cats. I ought it and it saves so much money that i don't have to buy the sticky rollers.

I am always wanting to teach the kids to give back and give thanks and one that I want to do is bringing something to the Firehouse. But I get stuck on what to bring!! Something homemade, something store bought, something sweet, something for dinner?? Can Frank give any ideas on what the firemen (and women) actually look forward to receiving? When I asked our firefighters they said they want nothing and we can just come and say thank you but I hate the idea of showing up empty handed when they spend their nights away from their families to help keep us all safe. Thank you!!!!

Pro tip on the garland: buy Wilt Stop and it will keep the live from drying out. I love these cleaning videos.
