Alexis made my childhood much more memorable and glamorous. I wanted to be her as I grow up. Never missed one episode!

Michael Praed was famous pre Dynasty in the UK for playing Robin Hood in Robin of Sherwood. He once said that all they had to eat when filming scenes for Robin of Sherwood was rabbit, and of course the charactrs were shown eating it. When he went to Dynasty there was so much food but no one ever ate😂

I’ve always been a huge fan of Dame Joan Collins as Alexis in Dynasty, cemented by the fact that she had a gay son Stephen, as back in my teens growing up in Rural Ireland in the 1980’s, I was beginning to realise that I was gay, so in a way Alexis inspired me to come out as gay - Alexis sense of style and fashion inspired many drag queens later on and it turned out that in real life, Dame Joan has many gay friends - I’ve always loved the fact that despite her huge success in America, she still hung onto her British identity and also, this resonates with me being Irish and living 21 years in the U.K. - I’m 52 now and I’m amazed to see how wonderful Joan looks in her 80’s 🇮🇪☘️🇬🇧❤️

It’s sad and ridiculous that Dynasty had to descend into having these undignified storylines such as alien abductions and incest, etc. The show, cast and viewing public deserved better.

Dex Dexter/Michael Nader after Dynasty worked with the daytime diva Susan Lucci - how ironic Joan Collins and then Lucci. He played the lover to the biggest stars of soaps ever. He had has struggles but he did work again before dying of cancer.

Loved Dynasty! It was fabulous, outrageous, and a lot of fun. Great doc but I don't get why they don't even mentioned the spin-off "The Colbys" when it was stars studded with big hollywood legends like Charlton Heston, Barbara Stanwyck, Ricardo Montalban, etc... If I'm not mistaken Fallon was abducted by aliens in The Colbys, not in Dynasty.

No one realizes Jeff was the dark horse who slept with Fallon, Claudia, Kirby, and Sammy Jo, and Alexis wanted him. He slept with all of them and remained the good guy. Right under our nose, Jeff pulled it off as the “nice guy”

I always wondered how Fallon came back with an British accent.

Out of all the reboots . Dynasty is the only one that is great ! It needs more cat fights though. But i see why they dont have them in 2024 ... fighting is not really trendy ....but wow ... Dynasty and dawn of the dead reboots are the only ones worth the watch !

Catfights, Expensive clothes and Jewels, cliffhangers, openers, beautiful ladies, Hot men. Primetime soaps were Fabulous and Dynasty was incredible.....Jeff....HOT, nice. Dammmmn..... Gordon....beyond sexy. Sunset Beach, Santa Barbara. PASSIONS....LOVE Jeff, Gordon, Jack, Emma in real life cracking up over the paint drugging Jeff..... Loved Emma from GH as Holly and then she took over Fallon...I loved it because she had an accent like her mum... I love Dusty Springfields Look Of Love playing for Jeff and Fallon..... Dynasty was groundbreaking with Steven but hinestly sorry really did try to get Steven back w Sammy Jo or Claudia. Al left cause they promissed Steven would be with a man and theres Claudia and Al has even said this which is why he agreed to The reunion movie when Richard and Esther Shapiro came back... I actually had Carrington for men cologne and wore to one of my high school proms Dynasty After asix Tuxedo.....

I'm a little confused about a certain cat fight between Alexis & Dominique. I vaguely remember the episodes from Dynasty but it seems as though Alexis was living in a different apartment when the fight broke out between her and Dominique and Alexis' dog, Rio, watched them fight. I can't remember what season or episode but it doesn't look like Alexis' original penthouse

Dynasty and Dallas were both great - I put them on equal pegging though Dallas was more real and Dynasty more fantasy but both served a purpose
