Today I show you how to make sick glowing hand drawn animations. These are super fun and simple to make. Special Thanks to the Reddit and IG community for requesting this tutorial. Aye bro congrats on hitting 100k subs! I am just getting into learning about AE and your videos have already helped me out a ton. Still debating on buying Paint and Stick since it is not cheap, but these types of animations and effects are so sick and is def something I really wanna try out myself. First time for this effect that I ever saw: It´s a kind of Magic videoclip by Queen in 1986. So I guess this one can be called a classic, since I saw it 34 years AGO. Damn I´m old.

Awesome video! One question: You are drawing directly on the comp. when i want to draw on the black solid, i can only do that on the layer mode and there i can only see the black solid and not the footage i put under it (screen layer mode is selected). Is there a workaround to draw directly on the comp and not on the layer mode? :) Thanks for helping!

you need to download the plugin. tutorial is in his description how to download the paint & stick plugin. Paint is the preset effect in Ae.. You just need to enable the panel tab
