I decided to weigh in with another female opinion. I agree. That man would look a thousand times more handsome either without that beard or a much, much shorter beard/mustache. 💚

@@Dolphin517 Yet once more, you match up with my statistics. In my unofficial American survey, 48 women out of 50 HATE men with big, long beards. They're not indifferent either -- it's not like they think the big beards are just okay but simply not their cup of tea. Nope, they outright HATE big beards. Women are fine with the five o'clock shadows, some scruff, a short manicured beard, perhaps a goatee even ... but NOT big beards. Straight men, strangely enough, love seeing a guy with big, long beards.

A gorgeous man, with an incredibly beautiful beard and mustache! He reminds me of a young Anthony Quinn. Nonetheless, I’d love to see him with a slightly shorter beard. Kudos to the hairstylist, though…he did a super job, and, it was great to watch him be so gentle and careful when using the razor. Very good!

Hair cut makes him look a lot younger. To me the beard isn't trimmed up enough. Though improved, it seems to overpower his face and take away a possibility of giving him a GQ look of vitality. I read somewhere that lips are sometimes considered sensual and a clue to a persons personality or character. Don't know how true that is, but you can't see this guys mouth, so who's to say. What you did showed skill and was done very well.

Why would a woman (me) be interested in watching this...? I asked myself. I think I just love watching a man take care, so sensitively, of another man. So much detail. This is way more than an assembly line style haircut. Love it.

At age 60, I'm taking the Greg Berzinsky challenge and attempting my first beard with a 90-day growth without trimming. I'm a bit patchy like he is, so watching his videos gives me hope. I have no idea what I'll end up with or what would look best on me, if anything. I also have thinning grey hair that could probably use some 'texturing'. I might just have to make a trip from San Antonio to Austin to let these beardmeisters take first crack at it. Currently, my wife hates what I'm doing. Maybe they can create something that'll help her change her mind. Oh, and Hugo looks amazing!

@@TheHungryTrollRawr Just made an appointment with Jesse for March 19th. I'll take some before and after vids, maybe throw it up on one of my channels. I'm excited to see what Jesse wants to do with it, because frankly I have no guidance for him, other than 'make my wife not hate it'. Tall order... It's been a real surprise so far that I could even grow something resembling a beard, because I am definitely not genetically blessed. If it hadn't been for Greg telling us to not give up too early, I probably would have ditched it after 6 weeks. But I'm thinking now there's something to work with ;)

Has your videographer changed? Your recent videos are showing the face of the client more than the actual haircut. Sly should be standing on the right side of the barber if the barber is right handed. I’m a cosmetic surgeon. The photographer always stands to my right side, so that my left hand/arm isn’t obscuring anything. Just a constructive criticism. Love you guys.

I just wish that he (client) went a tad bit shorter on the beard- and OZGAL was correct, the beard is mostly gray- 😣. I would have preferred if the client would allow the mustache to be trimmed more- food particle consumption would be my worry! However, it’s not my decision, it’s the clients! If he’s happy, I’m happy.

LOVED watching your hair and beard cut. This fellow had hair from God, but it did need the cut. A lot of techniques I haven't seen before. The razoring on the back was very interesting. I see the beard/mustache was off limits except for very minor adjustments :). The final vs beginning was amazing! A wonderful transformation! I've been giving my dh (dear husband of 48yrs+) all his hair cuts since Covid. You can tell by his hair how much I watch the hair channels :). I'm thinking of going to Barber school...

Love the cut. The beard needs help. Short and better shape arounf the jaw. Cut all the stuff that looks like a ratty old paintbrush off. Bring it up to were is is naturally smooth. If you do that it will match the refined lines of the haircut. No one would mistake him for a homeless person. It is the ratty ends going in all different directions that ruins the look. Some people just don't have the texture for a longer beard.
