I'd make him rot in jail but then she had a lot of chances of leaving/escaping to not let it escalate to this point. She could have easily gone to gramps and showed him the abuse and forced a divorce. She stayed silent so the abuse continued. When she found herself pregnant she could have escaped with her doctor friend. She would have had a chance of giving birth full term naturally and her sin born without problems. His abuse and her silent complacency caused their son's illness. Let the blind ML marry the slag. He would have found out quickly what a snake she was. Lastly, DON'T GO BACK! Co parent but don't go back. It's better to be happily single/divorced than be with bad company. Her body must still have wounds from his abuse.

It doesn’t matter if he has been lied to. It doesn’t matter what lies he believed. He CHOSE to physically abuse her, to rape her, to force her to deliver early when the baby was premature. He CHOSE to torture her and is completely responsible for her mother’s death. He also CHOSE to taunt her that her baby was dead. Saying “it was a misunderstanding” does not excuse or erase that he chose to hurt her every single time!

Yeah. Way too much abuse and nothing he could ever make up for! Not that he really tried. He says that he has been looking for her for 5 years to apologize to her face to face, but when he sees her he hugs her and acts like she should be happy to see him. He does NOT actually immediately apologize to her, but shows up at her work to tell her he misses her. By the way “I was wrong 5 years ago” is not the same as “I am sorry for everything I put you through 5 years ago…”. An acknowledgment of being wrong is not even close to an expression of remorse nor him understanding HOW he was wrong. He was only sorry for what he did AFTER he discovered the baby was his which means that he otherwise thought it was ok to torture his wife and abuse an unborn baby. 🤮🤮🤮 And he then starts with the “we are still married and so I own you as my wife” BS and continues to grab her and try to control her like he owns her. He’s not really showing much evidence of change. 1:30:33 he tears up her divorce request and then has the audacity to say “why are you so heartless?” He thinks SHE is heartless?! GTFO! 😂 He shows very little insight or empathy into what she went through or is feeling. The closest we get to an apology is him making excuses for himself and blaming others. He apologizes only for his “mistakes” rather than for his INTENTIONAL acts of harm to her, including vindictively causing the death of her mother and viciously taunting her with the death of her “bastard baby”. He apologizes for being “stupid” not for being evil and malicious. Those are very different things. It was stupid for him to believe the lies without doing even a tiny bit of fact checking. It was cruel and sadistic that he chose to torture her over and over, physically, sexually, and emotionally. He wants her to give him a second chance immediately without having shown any evidence of remorse (😂😂😂) without any atonement, and without him suffering. I almost chuckled at 1:39:00 her amazement that he could be gentle with his child because she has NEVER seen him be gentle to her. Not once. He should suffer at least as much as he put her through for 3 years! (I think she should get a chance to kick him in the balls as hard as she can once for every time he slapped her, choked her, raped her, imprisoned her, or otherwise abused her. Or maybe he could suffer at the hands of someone much bigger and stronger than him? Calling karmic justice. Not that it would be the same as having all of that done to you by your own spouse.). When he told her he wanted to compensate her, and get a second chance, I wanted her to answer him that she would give him a second chance when he returned her dead mother to her! These dramas have no interest in writing a redeemable character or showing an actual redemption arc. They just want to pretend that a vicious violent and abusive man can suddenly change and should be forgiven with a simple “I was stupid, I misunderstood, give me a second chance”. Why should she *ever* trust him again? We already know that he considered her his property to control when they were married the first time. Why would she subject herself to that ever again? If he had really changed, he would have apologized sincerely and shown remorse, explaining all the ways he knows he was wrong and that the knows he does not deserve forgiveness. If he had really changed, his apology would not be contingent upon her giving him a second chance.

Dont be surprised with this one there are many chinese dramas like this believe me when i say, after watching so much of them i find i have to check to see if my heart has turned black.....Gets me all the time

Sadly, even here in the US cases like this do happen and more frequently than you imagine. The victim may take years to recover. In a lot of cases, they believe their abuser is sincere and has changed-- not true. Get out while you are still alive!
