Only volume 1 of the light novel has been released in english so far. There are 19 volumes released in Japanese which is season 3 ,4 and possibly 5. Next season will be more like season 1 with over the top fights featuring Makoto. Trashmoki gets schooled. The webnovel is in a possible season 6 material currently. This episode ends in half of ch 168 of the webnovel but the arc doesn't end till ch 171. So either the light novel changed drastically from the webnovel or the producers of the anime want to introduce some major characters that were in ch 168 as a surprise at the start of next season.
