I feel like Edo Star would be the best option. Hoyo is clearly setting up Nanook as the main villain, but the Antimatter Legion hasn’t had much of a presence in the story yet. They were the bad guys during the HSS arc and Xianzhou arc, but HSS was the prologue and Xianzhou set up the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus as the bad guys before pulling a plot twist and revealing Lord Ravager Phantylia as the true mastermind. Alternatively, another comment here suggested the planet where Emperor Rubert’s tomb was found. I honestly really like that idea too, because it would give an opportunity to elaborate on Erudition. Personally, however, I am fully expecting Hoyo to throw us a curveball involving March’s past.

Honestly out of these edo star and melustanin seem the most likely destinations out of the 4. edo star because it could give us more info on the antimatter legion and melustanin because of the stellaron which could cause problems for the astral express (i mean a stellaron was why we went to the Luofu to begin with and that stellaron was a new one from what i remember)

Keep in mind the Planar sets also are based on planets and could give hints since Penocony also became a set. So our bonus options are "Sigonia the Unclaimed Desolation", "Talia Kingdom of Banditry", "Vonwacq's Island of Birth", "Thalassa", "Salsotto the moving city", "Taikiyan the sports planet", and lastly "Pier Point home of the IPC Headquarters". A short Description of each Planet since most don't read into the planar sets: Sigonia: A sand planet home to Adventurine which is almost devoid of humans but home to Humanoid Lizard species Talia: Once beaming with life turned into a comic dumping ground of trash which led it's original inhabitants to leave while making it a home of many engineers and thieves running from Galaxy Rangers Vonwacq: A small but crowded planet filled with dense wild life and trees. Because the trees are so dense it creates a makeshift roof making the top only trees and the bottom so dark it creates a home of Fungi. The indigenous Wacqwacq (the race that lives there) only eat fruit and are living in the stone age still a former nameless (Yanming) once visited stating that the laws are really harsh. Thalassa: Is a water only planet and had Mermaid like inhabitants, not much is known other than this planet is deeply inspired by Atlantis and that the the inhabitants are apart of the Xianzhou Alliance Salsotto: Is an unfortune planet as half the year it's under the scorching hot sun and the other under the cold moon leaving it 100% inhabitable but somehow the Salsottoians made moving cities that would follow the changing equator (so where the sun and moon meet) making so they could live. Taikiyan: A sports planet that was once a IPC home and had former traces of the Intelligentsia Guild now host car racing events on a 3 dimensional plan. The other top sport being "Roboball" which seems to be like Quidditch (Harry Potter) just without the broom Pier Point: Home of the IPC and has there main headquarters "Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise" nothing is known other than the Amber Lord (Qlipoth) once lived there before turning into an Aeon Which one sounds the best?

The latest Interastral Peace Broadcast episode mentions an excavation on Emperor Rubert’s remains. I personally think that that’s where we’ll be going next, as the Intelligentsia Guild and Screwllum are mentioned to be characters we’ll interact with there. It is also considered to be a Category Omega site on the Potential Disaster Index so the possibility of a Stellaron being there is high as well. The first episode of the Interastral Peace Broadcast already mentioned Penacony’s invitation to the IPC too as early as 1.0 so I think the devs are using this as a way to foreshadow future locations. Considering the fact that Screwllum is still not a playable character, as well as an unofficial confirmation from Dr. Ratio’s English voice actor that he’ll be working with the team for a year from now, and that the broadcast states that they’ll be following the story as it occurs, I have reason to believe that we’ll be exploring the Mechanical Emperor Tomb. Perhaps we’ll even get the Erudition MC there on 3.X!

I love the idea of an overall "glass" themed SU expansion in 2.3 or 2.4, based around the glass asteroids, Mirror Holders, and Fuli. I'd also love to see new Paths playable in SU, and was just thinking about how we've been getting several characters centered around Weakness Break (Xueyi, Ruan Mei, Harmony Trailblazer, and Boothill) and don't yet have a dedicated Break path in SU like we do for other niches of Follow Up, DoT, and Ultimate. I was hoping that it could be The Harmony, but if it was The Beauty instead I'd like that as well. Argenti is also due for a rerun soon, so he could also appear or be referenced there. I also like the idea of going to the place where the first Stellaron appeared, but I hope that would happen a lot later in the story so we can get big lore bombs about what exactly the Stellarons are, how they are sealed, and what the possible effects of us literally running around with one inside of us could be (as well as either confirming or debunking whether they're related to Nanook or not)

Seeing that the Eno Star will have a higher chance being the next destination

I honestly think that an IPC related location will be the most likely next destination. We've heard so much about pier point and have been getting to know more about the IPC and their members, and the Boothill plot with Oswaldo was introduced at the end of Penacony. I wouldn't be surprised if we're invited or have to make a stop at pier point or something like that and then get caught up in IPC government schemes and stellaron hunter stuff Pier Point could also be a hub for the IPC while also being their HQ, like maybe we could visit some mentioned planets like Punklorde or the Hyai'i Federation as they seem to be lesser important planets and could just be like mini areas connected to the Pier Point map. idk just an idea that popped into my head just now But anyways, pier point seems the most likely to me but it could very well be some other IPC planet. I at least assume the next planet is related to the IPC

I think Hoyo already collect the choice we made for their plan in the next future story, unlike Genshin that they have to rely on in-game survey Star rail use some interaction in-game to collect data(like when we finish every event or mini-game, NPC tend to ask us about how we feel) I choose Glass Belt because I want to meet someone from Morning actor and their perspective after Aha amusingly force them to be part of Elation

I think we're going to Pier Point, Aventurine, Jade, Boothill and the narrator of the true ending all mentioned Pier Point, IPC members, and the Amber Lord being next.

According to leakers, characters named jiaoqiu and feixiao(the general of xianzhou yaoqing) are supposed to be released in 2.4 or later and the next location would be definitely the xianzhou yaoqing or zhuming and this is also where we might get march 7th new version and this part of story is going to last for 3 patches minimum and after that there will be new planet therefore,yaoqing or zhuming is next

Assuming we now have a solid pattern, the next planet's story will place one of our crew members as the main character. Much like Dan Heng's story was center stage after getting Preservation in Belabog. My vote is going to either March or Welt. The planet Black Swan recommended may be her sneaky way of guiding March to planets related to her, I don't think we'll get a March power up just yet but we may get more clues as to who she is. As for Welt I think Edo Star is a good option, seeing the devastation the Legion has caused will probably make him think back to when he was fighting the Honkai, this would be a good way to inform people who haven't played HI3 as to why he's a fan favorite. Perhaps we'll also run into Void Archives and see what he's been up to since he left the train, Welt also has experience in corrupt organizations so maybe we'll get his full opinion on the IPC.

We’ve yet to obtain the Paths of Hunt, Abundance, Nihility, and Erudition. Herta’s Space Station is where we got Destruction, despite the Station being heavily tied to the Erudition. Jarilo, a planet that serves Preservation, started doubting the Preservation, and is where we got Preservation. Penacony is kinda similar to Jarilo, in the sense that it doubted the Aeon they believed in, and we obtained the Path of said Aeon. I don’t know if that is a trustworthy pattern or mere coincidence to … take slight notice of, but not devote our theories to. There is no guarantee that every planet we go to, is planned for the retrieval of a Path … otherwise we’d have 7 Planets and we are already at out Fourth Planet within a year, onto our Fifth … this would be an unfortunately short game in that scenario. We have the Xianzhou Alliance, where we did not obtain a Path, but obtained a powerful Ally in our destined fight against Nanook. So it would be cool if every Planet is designed for us to obtain the Seven Playable Paths, as well as an Ally for every Path (Trailblaze Ally was entirely spoon-fed to us within an hour, and Order possibly excluded/possibly not excluded, and if we somehow get a Propagation Ally, then we somehow got a Propagation Ally.) We’d be looking at … at least 7 Paths plus (at least) 15 Allies. At least, 20 more planets to come!!! (There are definitely enough planets in Star Rail to make this easily plausible.) Possible Planets we’ll obtain a Path on: Destruction - Herta’s Station Preservation - Jarilo Harmony - Penacony Hunt - Xianzhou Alliance (personally, I hope not, but … I don’t know any other alternatives atm.) Nihility - Black Forest (an interesting possibility, not likely possibility. Having fun with this possibility for the moment, will get serious when … things get serious. Edit: as far as I’m aware, there are only two references about Black Forest in the game, so I’m not surprised if you don’t know about this place. It’s mentioned in the curios “King of Sponges” and “Black Forest Cuckoo Clock”.) Erudition - Temple of Nous Abundance - Planet that belongs to one of the many Denizens of Abundance species. (Will definitely start narrowing this extensive list down four years from now.) Possible Planets/Factions we’ll obtain Allies from: (will only stick to the 7 Playable Paths for now, will explore the other potential Paths at a later date.) Hunt - Xianzhou Alliance (let’s just fit in the Galaxy Rangers … somewhere) Preservation - Pier Point/IPC Erudition - Temple of Nous/Genius Society (an alliance with all members, not just individuals from the Faction.) Abundance - some Denizen of Abundance species (once again, will narrow the list down at an extremely later date.) Nihility - Mr Nobody, as well as the Doctors of Nihility, as well as the Aeon of Nihility themselves. (It’s a joke, I love this Aeon’s design too much to not mention them.) Harmony - Harmonic Strings, how this will occur … we’ll just have to wait and see. Destruction - Ever-Flame Mansion/Annihilation Gang (I know, I know. A Destruction Faction fighting against their Aeon of Destruction? Never happening … well, you’re extremely likely to be right. I’m not adding them because I’m serious about it, but because it’s purely entertaining to imagine. And who knows, perhaps this insane Faction of Destruction is so faithful to their philosophy, that destroying the Aeon of Destruction makes perfect sense to them?)

the plot you suggested to edo star feels so crazy I want it to be that way. like, for example what I enjoyed in inazuma in genshin is that the end of archon quest didn't mean the end of crisis between sangonomiya and main inazuma islands, also didn't revive enkanomiya at all. I like it when sometimes we can't fix everything in an instant even if I enjoy this scenario as well

Aha has been getting some mentions in the story so I think we could potentially going to the mourning actors planet or a planet in epsilon because that’s where the masked fools hang out the most

Spoilers for hsr leaks so be carefull up ahead and skip if you don't wanna know. Last warning... March is going to get a new form in 2.3/4/5 which has xianzhou characters in the art. Considering that the foxian character jiaoqiu will release soon we'll probably go back to the xianzhou and finally get fu xuan to recover march's memories with the help of black swan making it our next destination!

The probability for them to go to another Xianxhou ships is more than Pier point mostly because Mc unlocked the perservesion path before but not the hunt or abundance, and Loucha and Jingliu trials is going to be soon and they are definitely have plans. But I don't like that to happen I 'm tired of xianxhou and want something new at least not so soon. Hoping for an Elation theme place like the planet with mourning actor.

I personally feel like those 4 destinations are all nice choices and perhaps they may do something very interesting and pull an interesting twist to where we could end up actually choosing 1 of the 4 (alter each players gameplay) and eventually reaching all 4 of them by the time we will be able to reach the next big milestone of the game they could be seen as 4 mini world adventures that we go to be seen like a filler till 3.0. so many different possibilities I feel like Remembrance might be linked to the Forshadowed March 7th buff, while their are other things that can be peculated ofc. Like you mentioned chance of us unlocking Nihility, but I feel like it be too soon since we only just got Harmony recently, so that may be a potential 3.0 hint/foreshadow since we know hoyo likes its foreshadowing in the story. we also got a chance of going to acheron's destination (not 1 of the 4 choices if I recall right), and that could be the foreshadow of 3.0 being Nihility trailblazer.

I doubt Lushaka the most for a non lore related reason: Fontaine. Hsr and Genshin not only intercalate new regions but the thematic of it as well. Thats why we got an ice planet first so it would be far enough from Genshin imo. So water region in hsr is years away, if we get there.

I would like to point out Moonshield or another Xianzhou ship as the next possible location, though i really do adore the scenario you put together for Edo Star

There are a few people who are mistaking Lord Ravager Zephyro as the one that was assassinated by the Rangers using the Swarm, that was Lord Ravager Zulo, Zulo was later replaced by Lord Ravager Celenova. I mean Zulo and Zephyro is kinda similar in name so I understand the confusion between the Lord Ravagers names

I feel like we’d return to the Loufu, since following the pattern we have been seeing with trailblazer and their new power is we unlock the same path as our enemy, destruction-antimatter legion, preservation-Cocolia (and Jiarlo 6 but I’m unsure if it is under preservation), and now harmony- The Family, so I feel like we’d likely fight some follower of the hunt or something of the sorts and unlock the hunt path next if we’re gonna follow dps path, defensive path, buffing path, which is what it seems like we’re following, we already have a hunt followers in the entirety of Loufu, so I feel it’d make sense

I just want a planet covering Lord Ravager Zephyro. This Emanator of Destruction is already my favorite HSR character without even his visual appearance.

I'm very curious about HSR's long term plan regarding its plot. We have more than a dozen planets already prominently mentioned as part of the lore, not to mention how older planets are also candidates for a second visit, like Belobog with its restorations and the mysterious "catastrophe" that Sparkle and Sampo were talking about. There's no way we'll get to see all these regions in the next 5 or even 10 years, so it'll be interesting to see what part of this huge universe we are focusing on.

Honestly I don’t think we’ll ever get a true new path (as in new gameplay) as the current roster of roles feels pretty good. However if we were to get a new path I think it would be a combo of other paths. We already have characters who play fast and loose with the rules of paths. Example: Gallagher being a healer who can also be a break dps. So I think we could have a scenario similar to that, where we get a path like engimata (idk how to spell) where characters can do a mix of things in a way obscuring the abilities of paths

Maybe the next destination is Edo Star especially because there is an invasion by the antimatter legion and the situation is very suitable for Trailbazer to get the Nihility path. Because there may be events that make them feel frustrated, for example because they cannot save something and may make them depressed and feel empty, then they get the nihility path. Moreover, when we vote for the next destination, the choice for March and Dan Heng will not change (they will choose Edo Star) unlike Welt and Himeko whose choices are determined by our choices. maybe it's a hint for the next destination, but who knows? This is just my speculation.
