I actually enjoy cleaning up my RC’s after a run. It’s the perfect time to give them a good look over to make sure everything is still in tact plus I like keeping my stuff looking and running like new.

I wish I could have a gas power it’s too loud in my area, it’s not difficult to keep gas maintained. People think you can just put it on the shelf. Then they hate on it. Great tips Earl. 👍💯

I like the after run clean up only difference for me is I bag the carb prior to water just to make sure nothing gets in. I mainly like RC for the tinkering/repairing. Running is fun as well but I have more fun in adding addons, adjusting etc. I prefer gas/nitro as I can seemingly run longer without charging batteries etc (besides the tx and rx) But on downside is the noise need area that people won't complain to you about it.

EARL….one thing about cleaning gassers is you don’t have to worry about esc,,,,motor…you can more liberal with water,,and not worry to much about electronics as much,,,,only the servo..that’s it. I find it a lot easier and more forgiving washing a gasser….🇺🇸🚘👈

Great cleaning vid👍 When I had my Baja 5b SS I mixed the same green degreaser and denatured alcohol 60-40. I put the mix in a spray bottle w/presure pumb. Paint brush and spray then let drip dry. Than spray Baja with wd40 and wipe and done. Never saw water!

I totally agree with your approach with your RCs Earl…. I too always clean my RCs after a run session because to me …. I look at it as these are expensive machines we basically play with and should be handled and maintained properly and in doing so …. Cuts down on the wear and tear we put this RCs Through…… excellent journey you took us on with these 2 stroke beasts……👍🏻💯

Nice tutorial on how to maintain these big RC's you have made now less scared of them so i might get a 5ive T 2.0 or 30 Degree North DTT which is a 5ive T clone. I think i might be safe running gas for awhile but i do want to convert my future 5T 2.0 to electric brushless 8s. I hope you still have this awesome truck and you're enjoying it as i would.

Great video. I always clean my rc’s after running even when iam running them a day or two later again. I miss my air compressor. Where I have moved it’s not allowed to use it. So cleaning takes so soo much more time now. Xmaxx for example takes up to one hour without compressor use 🙈
