This does not have an ending, although the ML does deserve the end it does have. SPOILERS. I don't understand why he was so cold to his wife for 2 years when he clearly liked her. He refused to divorce after he's the one that served her the papers. He was jealous and unreasonable and blamed her for cheating when she was drugged and forced. He didn't know that. He assumed she cheated and made her feel terrible even though he assumed he cheated as well and said nothing. The leads were frustrating to say the least. If they had just had a conversation none of this would've happened. They both assumed they had different people in their hearts when they didn't. In fairness to the FL her husband was clearly involved with his mistress prior to their marriage and ignored his wife for years so she had every reason to assume he didn't care about her. He never really did anything enough to give her any other impression. By the time he realized it was him that she slept with that night it was too late. She'd already left after having an abortion because she didn't know who forced her that night. The end is a flash forward and she has a little girl (she obviously didn't go through with the abortion) and amnesia from a traumatic childbirth. She doesn't remember the ML and doesn't think there's any reason to recall her past. Although this is not a complete ending I am ok with it. The ML deserved to lose everything. The FL doesn't remember the heart ache she endured. She is happy with her child and although I feel bad that she is no longer in touch with the ML's grandpa the FL had no family worth remembering besides him. She is better off with amnesia so I'm satisfied with this ending.

When I watch these kind of dramas, I say to myself - I am grateful with the decision to stay single and not marry... Imagine the trauma I will have to go through if I marry such a man!!! Being rich and handsome doesn't help in a marriage 😂

I like the end if is really the end she forgot about the abusing cheating jerk ml. Cuz all the ml ever did was abuse humiliate the fl plus he cheated during the whole marriage he only loved his mistress. The ml was soo happy everytime he abuse & humiliated the fl even making her drunk in public to leave stranded in the streets drunk. Everyone knew he was cheating even his own grandma knew & everyone knew the one he loved & wanted to marry was his mistress. The ml never liked or fell in love with the fl he only wanted around to hurt her so he could be happy with himself when he saw fl hurt. I don’t why the ml married the fl when he already was in a relationship with the mistress that he always loved why not marry her. Plus the ml always accused the fl of cheating when it was clear he was one that cheated during the whole marriage. Is good the fl got away from the ml cuz he was always in love only with his mistress he never cared or even respected the fl. For the ml he only saw the fl as toy or object not even as a person he was thinking he owned & could control the fl while still being with his mistress. The fl was so abused & traumatized at the end she forgot the ml cuz deep down was the only way for her to moved on from all the cruel abused the ml did to her during the whole marriage. The ml deserves to not know he is a dad or where the fl cuz he never loved her if he got her back was only to keep the abuse humiliating now would even include a child. The ml ever found his child he would even let the mistress mistreat the kid soo is better the ml never knows about the kid or find the fl.

These FL are always hanging on to the tiniest crumbs. How sad.

I love this kind of ending!!! Prof Jiang said all true! Just stay what she's now, dont try to remember past things that would make her feel sad, she's all okay with her achievement now. Her husband and her family, all of them is her painful memories that not worth to remember. Tho she yu an is not the character who hit and abusing her wife but his cold shoulder towards xu xingyao is counted as a domestic violence!! Whose wife who will not think a bad assumption if in her marriage life there is no communication and trust. He treat her just like a pet, the mrs shen she hold is just a title and it also applies equally to his title as husband. Why??? Bcoz she nvr get his warm, his care and his love as what a husband should do for his wife. After he get troubled finding that he had one night stand (with the fake girl), also find out that his wife consume a pregnant pill, he started his messy life. Adding with his wife being accused to kill a patient by mistreat the saving way. He is the one who not trust her and he's also the one who defense her well. I think he clearly realized that he love her as he get jealous when other men close to her, he also initiate to hv intimate contact by kiss her in his fully conciousness. His evil little brother had warned him that someone will cherish his wife if he neglected her. He is not only neglected her, but also push her to the abyss indirectly. So when he find the truth is already too late. Too late for him to feel regret and pay his mistake as there is another man who willingly take care of her and her life. He is really not deserve for her and for knowing the existence of his daughter. She deserve a better life with a better man. But too bad, shen grandpa couldnt keep contact with xingyao again.. Shen grandpa, dont blame xingyao, it's shen yu an who failed her and make her disappointed.

Shit drama and shit plot, I skipped a lot but finished, ML and FL are married for 2 years, ML give her the cold shoulder this whole time until one night him being drugged sleep/rape FL, both think is somebody else, ML think SFL sleep with him and FL think a stranger raped her, ML goes and accuse her of cheating when he has done the same, even more he plans to divorce FL to marry his mistress but accuse her of being dirty and ruining his family reputation. This is the first drama where we see real PTSD after FL was raped, she was legit on point of breakdown at one point, I couldn't watch that part and this shitty ML was only doing worst, no idea why she didn't called the police, ML need a few years in prison. I don't care if the ending is complete or not, it was the best ending she could get, she lost the memories of the jerk and her being raped, she give birth to the kid, become successful in her career and she's alongside a person which love and respect her, she couldn't get a better ending, ML live in guilt that he murdered his kid and his wife left him and hopefully never find her. The only issue is lack of punishment for the mistress.
