SURFING VISIONS

SURFING VISIONS

Күн бұрын

After 5 days of torrential rain that left the east coast of Australia in the worst floods in a 100 years we knew that once the rains past that the Pacific ocean would create some beautiful waves. It was really about where the best place would be. This spot rarely breaks but when it does its one of those great waves that rates as one of the most dangerous. This slab of a wave breaks directly on a very shallow reef. If your game enough to ride this wave with one mistake could end up been your last.
AFTER THE RAIN FEATURES - Russell Bierke, Matt Dunsmore, Scott 'Whip" Dennis, Wayne Cleveland, Jay Taplin, & Dylan Longbottom.

Epic. Just once though I’d love to see Swellchasers post a clip in real time. It’s clear slow motion is your favourite effect, and it’s true that it looks great on occasion or to recap an awesome ride. Used incessantly however it becomes frustrating, even irritating. I think you do a great job and I’m so wanting to remain a subscribing fan.

Great footage as always. Would love to see a few waves sequences sometime (maybe even a whole video) uncluttered by surfers though, to remind me of what it was like paddling out into the surf and having the waves all to myself. The real 'stars' are and always will be the waves IMHO.

And how many spots are now rideable that wouldn’t otherwise be? And plenty of spots around the world that can be fine to paddle into up to a certain size and above that are impossible without skis? Have a look at the beginning part of the video when it was steeper and the body boarders were dealing with massive drops and that’s with the advantage of fins. Good luck paddling into that. The world isn’t so black and white - there are definite cons to skis but you can’t also ignore the pros.
