This is the reason why I think Neuvillete must tell the truth about Furina's story and sacrifice to the closest people during the events: Navia, Chlorinde, Wryotsley, Lyney, Lynette, Freminet and even Siweginne must know the truth, they deserve know what Furina really did and she deserves to be recognized for her friends as she truly is: The bravest and Purest human soul in Teyvat, a genuine Archon.

The story of her being a fraud never really got out - most people believe she was really the Archon, but gave up her power to turn into indemnitium and/or prevent the prophecy, and is now retired and no longer the Archon. You can see how she's still a celebrity among most Fontainians. She is still resented by some elements, but that's mainly places like Poisson who still hold her accountable for inaction on the prophecy since so many of them actually died.

I think that for the best. We still dont know how the heavenly principle perceive the world. Is it through their own eye or through the normal people around Teyvat, etc. Telling others of Furina's sacrifice might aswell undone it

@@zawatcher7394I doubt that. But given how the Fontainians didn't dissolve even though by that Point Fontaine is likely aware of Water from the Primordial sea will dissolve them. The fact they didn't and even survived a Massive flood that should have drowned all of them. I can see why they'll buy the story of Furina sacrificing her Power and ending her reign.

If they know that truth they might actually put blame on celestia since she declared their previous archon to be a sinner since all of then found out that they were actually oceanids which is not a good move if they put blame on celestia and it will cost a lot Even some fontanians won't just felt bad for furina despite most of the people died in poisson and still blame in her despite everything she did to fulfill her duties

well despite being not the archon she is treated like one both in community and even ingame so yea just like other archons she would get an act 2 for her story quest especially cause her act 1 ends in a bittersweet ending, probably would introduce a new weekly boss just like other archon's act 2 (although neuvillette would be also a candidate for the archon treatment since he is technically the god of fontaine now, would be nice to have 2 characters getting an act 2 for their story tho) but in the end Neuvilette's story quest ending had a solid closure while furina's story quest felt hanging i say bittersweet cause its nice that she is willing to step back on stage after all the shit she went through, bitter in a way that your MC and paimon are such pricks in the story, long with people from poisson for some reason still mad at her despite the news being furina not the archon is pretty much widespread

Yeah, sadly the latter part about Neuvillette declining rumors isn't true. Which is messed up because thanks to the Ordo Quest series, it seems that everyone know about the Abyss whale, yet no one bothered to speak the truth about Furina.

@@user-so4ov7re3s Not really, they did not knew about the whale, not many even knew about Primordial waters, Rene himself in the end admitted that he was wrong in many things, he sees the overall picture, but missed details, he knew that something is coming and he knew that it have something to do with dissolution in water, but not exactly what was the reason of that and what was standing behind this exactly. Also he thought that this will happen to whole Teyvat and not only Fontaine. Btw, we can't actually say for sure that this Flood was literally what Rene's calculation were about exactly and not some events from future that we still do not know yet about, cos even Rene admitted that dates do not match, but he though anyway that this Flood was exactly the end of the world he calculated even when dates have not matched he also noted that this maybe caused cos this should be the last cycle, so he was concerned that flood was literally what will cause the end of the world, but as Nicole said - Even Gods do not know everything... So Ordo quest is one more "perspective of a teller" story, as Genshin loves to build stories on. (Perspective of a teller/observer is known in literature and theatrics as the story that is given to a viewer only from understanding/perspective of the teller who tells it, it's not exactly the false or a lie, but in details is not exactly what was told in the beginning).

@@CaeFly12937 Her quest was about her own denial and how she overcomes her fears, after her quest you can listen to her voice-lines, she have some interesting things there to say, that she though that people did not want Furian, that Furian was nothing, but people wanted Focalors and exactly Focalors is one who deserve everything and that she was proven wrong and that her friends have shacked her and moved her from this delusion, also in her story it says that only place when she felt free and herself was when she was acting on the stage (like an actress and not when she was acting as Focalors) and that after specific moment when she was forced to play a role of Small Oceanid she finds out that this is what she really wanted and that she was wrong all the time and that she was living in denial and self-pity. Also in event, if speak to her after the quest she also admits that she was acting like Arrogant a Narcistic person when Traveler and Paimon came to her (referring to her Story Quest) and she is trying to change, but it will take time, after she again acted she often does, but now she was honest and acted like this not in escapism, but in full understanding that she is acting and having actual fun now. So her Story quest was not really that superficial as many likes to see it, it was about changes of her inner world and her vision on the world around her.

You know how much they made me angry when I hear "let's set a trap to force her to confess all the truth" every second of that damn mission was an ache in my heart, cuz the whole mission you can see how lonely she is and the eager she is to talk with someone, she even hesitate for secs about to tell us everything. I just wanted to hug her but no, ethan was too busy trying to find out everything by force... uh... srry I rlly needed that. despite Ethan behaivor, I realized that it was necesary since Nuvilete just gave him few minutes to convence her and save her. But dayuuum my man !! I still watching her puppy eyes saying "you must to believe me, pls", no bro, that was just too much for me 😭😭😭😭

But alas, that needed to happen. It is the culmination of Focalors plan: to judge the Hydro Archon Focalors via Furina to get a guilty verdict with enough Indemnitium to conduct a death sentence with Neuvillette as the Iudex. If we didn't bring Furina to trial or didn't prove Furina guilty of something at the trial AFTER the Oratrice had been charged enough, Fontainians would still be dissolved. It was not obvious that Furina was not an Archon and lonely prior to us planning to trap her. I saw her as a mischievous Archon with a plan that probably had to wait for a certain moment to do her thing and she cannot prevent casualties of the Primordial Sea prior to that. I do feel sad when I discover the true story, but at the same time, it can't be helped.

I totally agree with you and i had that Same feeling after they tried to trap her for finding the *truth* by basically making her cry .and Literary it was too much to handle after seeing her cry .even at some of the comments at reddit mentioning even After the last archon quest of fontaine and after seeing her tears they still say furina is not worth of being an archon .like bro she SUFFERED 500 years .alone no one to talk to.no one to reach and share feels and sorrows .and they say *oh yeah she dosnt deserve sht* .i hate Aether and Lumine More .becouse what they cared about most was the *awnsers *while she was crying becouse of the Trauma of having her people know they no longer believe her Clorine Navia Neuvilette Lynette and Lyney were all part of that .they Betrayed her by making her into court while she only had to do is save Fontaine .like literally Fontaine dosnt deserve Furina .becouse Fontaine without Furina it will perish. i Loved her from the very beginning. The final trial was essential in Focalor's plan, but Furina knew nothing of it. No one but commonfolk Fontainians themselves are the ones at fault by indirectly forcing Furina to put on a mask all those years ago. It can't be avoided since we're talking about thousands of different types of mindsets living in the same nation that could possibly lead her to a path of failure towards her secret mission. At the end of the day, neither Focalor, Neuvillette nor the Traveler and the gang were at fault, since each one of them are doing their best for the sake of everyone else's safety. From Furina's perspective, it's game over. However, from Focalor's perspective it's checkmate.

To have put on a stage, an act for 500 years, can you imagine? Putting on a mask that is not you, that completely defies who you are-that go’s against all your beliefs and values, just so you can save the people and nation you care about. The act must be perfect, you mustn’t let what’s beneath the mask to show, not even a slither of your true self. To have bottled up one’s emotions for so long, yet act as though you cannot contain those very feelings when presented with a “thrilling” trial, is something that is utterly conflicting and exhausting, especially when you beg for the curtains to finally fall, but no one responds to your pleas of desperate hope, and thus, the act must continue. Nobody knows to check up on you when you cry alone, because everyone thinks you’re perfectly fine…and they like to believe thats how it’s supposed to be… Furina suffered so much, such a long opera that no one but the actress knew was taking place, and everyone watched the performance without a speck of guilt. It hurts to know that the people of Fontaine don’t know how much their “childish”, “impulsive”, “carefree” archon sacrificed for them. She sacrificed her very identity to keep them from demise. My girl deserves everything.

When the archons were miserable all along: Venti - possibly only awake during important times in Teyvat. Errand boy of Celestia. Zhongli - getting senile, lost sense of purpose, can't solve puzzle of Guizhong. Lost a lot of people. Ei - death of twin made her go on a twisted search for eternity, lost almost everyone close to her during the war. Nahida - imprisoned and disregarded. Furina - had to keep up an act for 500 years without rest. Focalors - left to deal with shit Egeria left behind, suicided to rebel against Celestia.

Fontain people were more than happy that Furina returned to the stage even for a short time, Fontaine even have Furina Movie Awards and every troupe was more than happy to work with her, only Poisson people were cold to her and cos she gave a promise to protect them and she did not, was unable, cos she lied to whole nation that she was an Archon, with good intentions or not, people had hopes and felt save, when they should not be, but Navia is very respectful to Furina. So of course there will be some dudes who were angry cos of her lies, but most of people are more than happy when they see her.

They have 0 knowledge of everything that transpired with the Traveller and Neuvillette concerning Furina/Focalors... and Furina also made sure to ask Neuvillette not spread the news about her and her origins. Which is quite evident when she appeared in Poisson and people kinda... want to gang up on her. In spite of that, there are still Fontanians who seems to still like her, though! She deserves a rest, methinks. Kinda want the Traveller to just bring her along, to be honest.

Furina situation is just made bad because they cannot go public about what really happened, as mentioned in Fontaine's story and during her character quest. The public knowledge is limited to the fake information that after Furina failed as a Archon, she passed on her job and position to Neuvillette to avoid being given the death sentence so the common knowledge by the majority is that she is a person who failed her job as a Archon to prevent the prophecy and someone more reasonable and better at her job had to step in at the last minute. Reason they could not go public with the truth is mostly because Focalor plan will not work if the majority of the ordinary people knew the truth due to the high risk of it reaching Celestia which will give Celestia reason to nuke Fontaine or do something far worse than the Prophecy. Either way, Focalor's plan to punish Celestia for their actions was still giving them the biggest "F you!" that Zhongli, Ei, and Venti only dream they can do to Celestia.

Finally got her today. Good thing I never finished Sumeru's map. There are treasure chests to open to get more Primos. So what if I don't get Alhaitham or Kaveh? I am actually split between having the best healer and best girl but...I chose the Diva because she convinces me. Her internal struggle and inability to share her silent suffering rings too well for me. Every time I looked at her, my eyes starts to water. I get you, Queen. You will always be my Diva.
