Be interesting to see how smooth the cut is considering the drill only spins below 2000 rpm, but an actual router spins at around 23,000 rpm or more. Over 10 times faster

La idea es ingeniosa si se va a trabajar así poco tiempo. Las fresas pequeñas de router deben girar como a 18,000 rpm, esa velocidad no la alcanza ningún taladro. Lo q va pasar es q la fresa puede quemar la madera, y también perder su filo. Saludos!

Carpenters will probably laugh at you. It would be an incredibly choppy finish and you would wear the router bit and the drill out quicker. Just buy a cheap trim router and you will get far better results for DIY projects. Homemade tools often result in dollar store quality projects at best but if that is your goal then by all means go for it

Yo hice eso quizás para emergencia puede servir pero no lo recomiendo es muy inestable, aparte con el tiempo se afloja toda esa base y puede ser muy peligroso si zapatea en un mal movimiento.

If you already have a cordless drill, then just buy a cordless router for $150. You spent at least that amount in parts and labor to build this and a router will do a much better job and is 100 times more versatile.

Quizás estoy equivocado, pero veo cosas en este canal que, personalmente, las considero peligrosas, como usar una fresa en el taladro o modificaciones en la amoladora angular, creo que no se debería experimentar con esto, por eso ya están las máquinas especificas para cada accesorio.

Nice jig and innovative thinking but if I have the time to build a jig like that one I also have the time to use a router which will undoubtedly make a much better cut. The drill just doesn't have the rpm's. Good idea though.

Carbide router bits are designed to run at at least 15000 rpm. You are cutting the life in half of these bits running them so slow.
