Probably because he used to be one, when he and others were possessed by Kryptonians in season 1. He was deeply affected by that and he might be worried it's happening again. It's understandable that he would distrust anyone displaying superhuman abilities in their town. But I hate that he knows now. He doesn't seem like the type who can keep a secret.

@@henrypeters5291 - The DoD should have at least forced the kid to strip completely and put on clothes provided by the DoD. Not allow him to bring *anything* of his own into the cell! Mannheim already used one crook equipped with a small device to steal their entire database! Plus, since Peia is a metahuman, and Intergang has proved that they can *make* metahumans, how could the DoD even be sure that Peia's son wasn't one? IRL, Sam would have been court martialed and dishonorably discharged by now for all the security breaches that seem to happen under his command!

@@daniels7907, after the Morgan Edge incident they became friends as he realized that Clark is no one to be jealous of as he was jealous that Clark used to be Lana's boyfriend when they were kids. He realized that Clark had his own family with Lois and the boys.

@@torieowens8277 - You don't seem to understand the difference between a "friend" and an "acquaintance". Which, admittedly, is a problem in this age of social media. Clark and Kyle are *not* friends! They don't hang out and talk about their personal stuff, go for drinks, etc. Not like Lois and Lana. In fact, they barely speak to each other except at large social gatherings. Kyle was more jealous of Clark when he didn't live in Smallville. That's why Sophie pointed out that Kyle got upset that Lana looked at Clark's Facebook page back when Clark still lived in Metropolis. But it also turns out that Kyle was cheating on Lana at the time.

Have you watched the show? Supervillains show up on the Kent farm door step on a regular basis already! That's why the boys got so fed up with Clark and Lois preaching about living a "normal life" in between attacks on their home!

So I actually called this. At the beginning of season 2, somebody made a comment comparing this to the Flash, and I was like just you wait, because that was how Arrow started. That said, they have actually handled the secret very well in that they have only told people who were either helping them or in immediate danger. John Henry Irons, needed to save Superman. Natalie, by default. Lana and Sara, a fucking drugged out Doppelganger was chasing them. The only person who did not need to know was fucking Chrissy. The only reason Kyle knows is because Jordan sucks at hiding his involvement.

@@daniels7907 That is an exaggeration. There are like three instances of supervillains showing up to the Kent farm, and when they did, no one else was there. Season 1, Morgan Edge came to Smallville because of the Ex-Kryptonite, which was not Clark's fault, and Superman did not show up in town until the end of the season. Season 2, the entire plot revolved around the portal that was there because of the Ex-Kryptonite and again, Superman only showed up at the end. We do not know if Lana's doppelganger was after her or Jordan during the school fight (likely Lana considering she attacked her before). Hell, this season, Lana and John Henry Irons got attacked because of the old mayor, which probably has something to do with the Ex-Kryptonite again and John Henry killed Henry Miller in the middle of town. The Kents are free and clear.

@@henrypeters5291 - You haven;' been watching have you? Morgan Edge sent his "subjekts" to the farm to go after Clark's family and they had to be fought off. Then Edge himself came and knocked down Jordan with heat vision and threatened to murder Lois and the boys if Clark didn't submit. In S2, Ally's minions Jon-El and Lana-Rho both attacked them at the farm. That doesn't count things that happened nearby. Like Edge causing a car wreck for Sam, the boys and Sarah - so that he could put his father's mind into Jordan, who then attacked the farm and nearly killed Jon. Yet, despite all of this, Clark and Lois had the insane notion that the boys should recover from these traumas and resume "normal life" just because Clark and Lois themselves have been playing this little game for fifteen years and enjoying it thoroughly. That's as much as I feel like typing. But it proves how wrong you are. Have a nice day!

@@daniels7907 You realize you did not contract a single thing I said right. I said that there were three instances of villains showing up at the farm and you brought up the three. 2. My argument was not about the boys having a normal life. That ship has sailed around the world twice. It was that they did not draw that much attention to themselves mainly because the incidents that happen to them, no one was around to see it. Next time you try to show somebody up, at least read what they wrote. Good day to you sir.

He still believes that it was Jon. Although Clark did just make things worse by flying off in front of Kyle. Because if Clark is Superman, then it's not a huge leap to guess that one or both boys have powers.

I’ve seen bits and pieces of that show but didn’t like it at the start. I’ve heard and seen it has become better. Unfortunately me and my editor lack the the time to also upload clips from that show for now. Maybe we’ll work on it in the future if the show gets a second season perhaps that we’ll then work on uploading clips but can’t promise we will unfortunately. Are you enjoying Gotham Knights?

Totally agree that’s one of the reasons why I’m happy to hear it might get canceled along with Gotham nights
