Forget the fact that it was antique, how could a proper Brit in your climate possibly forget your umbrella? LOL. The island of Great Britain and the State of Washington & their peoples have reputations to uphold in notoriously rainy climates, though Washington's is actually overstated when you examine the stats on it. And, like Great Britain, theirs is a lushly lovely land. I must say, the Marriotts have intruded themselves everywhere. I assume as a hotel, they have grounds where guests can walk amidst the natural beauty marked-off from the golf course, so that no one gets knocked unconscious by a forceful golf shot. A lot of sweets! No sandwiches? Thank God for scones. Ah, I espy the sandwiches and accompanied by muffins, it seems. Is it possible to take the bunnies home & freeze them to add to someone's Easter basket? LOL. They probably don't thaw well. What was that very hard, crisp cookie you bit into ever so carefully? The Prosecco looked refreshing. It was a beautiful room that you exited the tea room through with the lovely chandelier. The architecture is well-highlighted in the dark by their lighting design. Do the golfers at the club use a country club dining room to eat if they are members or even visitors or are they often seen in the tea room where you ate? There seemed so few people there, I could not ascertain if it was for members & visitors.
