@@smellyliterature I can’t assess whether I myself am a dedicated Pokémon player, as the assessment would be nearly if not entirely subjective. However, I can state that I have played Pkmn Gold, Emerald, Platinum, (I think X/Y was for DS, if so then that’s on the list) on emulators. I have legitimately Pkmn Rumble for Wii, Pokémon Shield Core Game (I still need to complete the Max Raid Lair in Crown Tundra), and that is the most recent game I have played regarding Pkmn in terms of release date.

@@bluedragon2092 @bluedragon2092 Completely valid, if I'm truly honest I've only played "bottom of the barrel" (as twitter folks would say) pokémon games, also known as the most recent mainline games, however I have played Gen 3 - B2W2 on emulators (but you didn't hear that from me, please don't find me Nintendo). Personally am more of an anime watcher, even though some parts are absolutely unbearable.
