It's basically when someone has a traumatic experience in the past and they developed the trauma and when everytime something like the past happens, a person gets panic attacks and shaking and starts remembering their trauma.

It stands for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, usually referred to as PTSD and it most commonly happens to war veterans or people who experienced early childhood trauma like abuse seeing a family member die etc. Hope this answers your question
