Problem is if Saliba wants to join Madrid his contract expires in 2027 so we may have to settle for 100 -120m which is still amazing business but imagine if we signed say Hato and Isak in 2 years time for that combined fee. I want Saliba to stay though but Madrid are assembling the Avengers and Saliba must be tempted in the future.

117m for Saliba is an absolute joke. And I’m not even bias. Arguably the best CB in the world. Still very young. Still improving. No injuries. He’s the type of player you can never replace. Ever. You sell a player like that, you are instantly weakening your team, permanently. If Real are serious about him, they better seriously consider breaking the transfer record.

Even £117mil is too little for Saliba! Nothing below 150mil should even be considered. Also, if Raphinha is the Brazilian we're looking at, as a Brazilian, I think he would be a very good signing. He is 1 of the only positives about the current national team. Even last night against Uruguay, he was by far the most dangerous player for Brazil.

I am a Barça fan who likes Arsenal a lot, but tbh, I don't know why you would want Raphinha, having Saka on the right wing. Raphinha is very left footed, he doesn't have a right foot almost, so he's not very good at LW. And no, Barça won't sell him for less than what they bought him for, which is around 50M pounds? Also the fact that Lamine Yamal has relegated him to a position (LW) where he isn't as good must be taken into consideration as well. His dribbling is non-existent. In Barça every team in the league parks the bus against us, so we need dribblers, and without exaggerating I could count with my fingers the amount of dribbles I have seen him do in 2 years at Barcelona. On the other hand, he has a very good long shot, and runs very well to the space in behind the defenses. He also presses non-stop. I think he's the type of player more fit for the Premier than LaLiga because he thrives when there are spaces, but I wouldn't pay what we (Barça) must ask for him just to have him as Saka's sub.
