going from smashing teams 6-0, 5-0, 4-1 ofc the form is going to dip slightly because that’s what you have to go off, we’re not ‘worse’ than we were, just a natural regression in pace and intensity

Exactly. Even man city don’t win 6 nils and 5 nils every week. Sometimes we’ll have a 1 nil to the Arsenal and other times the score might be really close but the 90 minute performance is what matters

Since Brentford they haven’t great but when the times comes when it’s needed they can turn it up a level so I don’t think that’s anything to worry about.

I get where his coming from and I’ll say out of all those games the Brentford one was the worst. Porto played how they do best, super defensive and wasted time. City as he said was a different game. But we rotated 5 players for Luton and were 2 nil up and cruising. Ain’t no way these guys are all going to instantly click with some not having played for months. We just needed minutes in legs because these bench guys are gonna crucial games play over the coming weeks. Not all 5 at the same time but they will play.

This is what happens when fans do this day to day over analysing . We won comfortably against Luton with a rotated squad. Instead of trying to push for a 3rd, 4th we just let the game peter out. We are literally getting all our players back and for some (Partey, ESR, Tomiyasu; we didn't even feel a need to bring on Jesus) you could even of called that game an advanced U23's game. We kept a clean sheet and looked solid. What more do we need/expect. Trust our manager and players.

It’s more about controlling the game, that necessarily doesn’t mean intensity in attack. The four games have been comfortable, other than Brentford which was a lil dicey.

The games have intensified in meaning. We have had 5 consecutive clean sheets away from home .This is amazing ,don’t play it down coz we ain’t smashing them 5-0.We are down to a normal Winning pace .Sometimes u need to just do a job.

Those 4 sides were the 4 toughest teams we've faced in a while. Brentford, Porto and Luton although almost always lose against better teams they always fight till the end and play football that makes Arteta have to think twice. It's all about reserving energy because last season we draw to Luton and we lose to City.

Players had a dip not the team mate just say it as it is saka is one of the players that’s dipping in. Form odeegard dips too but he keeps the intensity
